Looks like a lot of fun! Did the smaller and lighter bikes such as the G310GS do better off road than the larger, heavier and more expensive bikes? I think that's the dirty secret the ADV bike manufacturers would rather not acknowledge. There is value at each level. The bigger ADV bikes are more comfortable long range cruisers and should be marketed as such. Believe it or not, many people's ides of adventure doesn't involve mud, stream crossings or rutted single track. 😛
@@ADVLARRY true! Only thing stopping me pre-ordering is the luggage solution. On the trails soft bags are fine but when I'm commuting my partner likes to have a back rest and I can't see any tail rack solutions that can take a decent case yet. (I have a Givi Dolomiti on the back of the 310 - she loves it) She just wants the security of knowing she can't fall off the back. Still - first world problems!!
Nice job, Larry!
Looks like a neat event! Might be able to ride my GS up for the weekend.
For sure. Tons of fun. Usually the first weekend in October.
Looks fun - have an older R1150GS gonna try the event out this year
It’s a great event. Make sure you come say hey!
@@ADVLARRY sure will with beer!
Any word yet on this year’s dates? Not seeing anything posted
Make sure you come say hi !

Glad the 310s still smashing it. That Trophy 850 you were following looked pretty sweet though! 900gs is definitely on my radar for next year.
Lol. The 900 is on everyone’s radar!!!

We need a west coast version!
I’m sure there is. What part are you?
310 is like the little engine that could...trying to keep up with 1250's and 900's puttering away
In the trails I’m passing them. Not so much on the street. Lol.
Nice job, Larry!
