awesome build - really digging the look. and the fact you built it from scratch - and it drives like that (you're obviously very skilled) make it all the more impressive. Great job!
Such a badass build... I love how the chasis and engine placement actually looks like a real car... Mybe I'll go for that if I decide to build another one after i finish my current (and first) RC project Currently making a Rwd drifter as well ... I will only be making the chasis, body and steering assembly myself though. I chose to buy a tt01 alu kit from yeah racing and will be using the upper and lower arms, steering knuckle and suspention from that and make the chasis fit that. Mine will be RatRod inspired with two chasisrails connecting the the back third of a diy alu chasis-plate like the original, supporting the rear differntial and axels etc as the original did... All done by hand and no machining or 3d-printing... A powerdrill and some basic handtools and thats it.... Theres a Long Way to the Top if you wanna Rock n Roll.... :D -Thanx for the inspiration!
That much camber has never really been my thing but I love the setup with front engine like that. I have 2 hobbies that I enjoy and that is RC and drifting and I wish there was a way to do rc drifting without the carpet and plastic. Guess you can't have it all though.
You can have it all...lol I have a RWD rc drift car, and I added a stupid fast brushless motor and ESC. Now it will drift with rubber tires outside on the pavement, only thing is now my tires only last a few times out...lol But that's realistic I guess...
So many haters posting on this car. Well I didn't see your video pop up when I typed in the search bar. He knows what he is doing, he is practically winning. Plus its his own style. Every car is different with the amount of camber you need. Also the world of drifting is all about style right. I love it robekensugi!
Lol cheap? From an automotive perspective this is the most realistic Rc drift chassis i have seen yet.. But yeah.. i agree the execution could be better...
Idk how I haven’t seen this sooner but I’m glad I finally found it 😮💨👌 thing looks like it’s Tesla powered with that electric motor hugging the fire wall real low. You should 3d print some Tesla stock wheels for it
People are so quick to call it retarded looking and fail to see the beauty on this beast. It has the same suspension geometry as the real S13 which no rc car has...this is a complete one off.
that amout of chamber is to give the car control over the turns otherwise it will just spin....looks stupid but thats what it is for... If you want RWD NON DIY THEN buy a sakura D4....much better ^___^
That's awesome how much would you charge to build one just like it with out the motor and esc or the lipo or remote or receiver just everything except those items I love drift rc but I can't find one like that at all thanks you do good work man 💯
Great video!! Really cool car!! I love the front engine work!! I am a RC Dirt Oval guy so it has me thinking about a car to do for fun. Are these cars racing each other? If so being a Oval guy this would be a blast to do indoors in the winter time. And just race them like this, gonna look further into this for next winter! Thanks for the ideas!
at the first from thumbnail i tought that the car was crashed but after i saw the video i tought.... hmmm pitty there is no driver inside ^_^ but the way it looks i dont like, too much camber but over all great job i enjoyed it
Really cool, got me thinking about making my own drift car, but with a rather 'large' twist.Have to ask, with it being RWD is he using a gyro or is it just pure skill? Must be really hard to control if he isn't using a gyro.
dear +robekensugi , To begin, I love your design! I think of making myself one, but the only thing left for me to know, is: Where did you put the battery? I'd love to hear from you Kind regards: Reza
i think it would be cool with a clear bonnet that lifts up and held down with magnets and made it look a little less like its not full of fat people in the car killing the wheel stance...
Very cool! Do you have any advice or help for those of us that would like to build a car like that? What bevel gears, front suspension parts or geometry? Thanks ! Jimmy.
dear +robekensugi , To begin, I love your design! I think of making myself one, but the only thing left for me to know, is: Where did you put the battery? I'd love to hear from you Kind regards.
Sorry, this machine is not mine. The owner loves make different machines, but he assembly, run about 2 mounths and disable to make new projects. The car on this video don't exist... That was transformed to other machine.
How does the motor work like that? All the front motor RC drift cars have the motor sideways but I like how this front motor is laid out longways with the gears in front! I checked out the blog but I am not able to understand it unfortunately. Could someone please help me understand how the motor can be setup like that?
How close it is to real life handling of a real drift car?? I have a AWD RC car and from the first day it was very easy to make huge drifts with it, specially because the handling is very close from drifting in Forza 4 game from Xbox360 with a AWD car for drift. I bought it from a friend that already had cars for quite a few time and in my first times I was already better than him drifting the RC car because of playing forza :) PS: But I never tried a RWD RC drift car (and his normal touring RWD cars just spin off and cant drift) :(
This looks so much more fun and scale accurate than modern "drifting"
Realistic Engine : *Check*
Drift style : *Check*
Loose Weight Reduction : *Check*
Impress level : *Absolutely*
Aerodynamic:no
The rc drift world needs more setups like this!
what an amazing build! you literally turned it into an FR setup. that's dope!
this is brilliant, it would be nice to see a full spec video showing camber castor and how it was made.
Awesome!
This inspired me to build one myself.
So,.. how did it turned out?
@@TheWisdom3 did he ever tell you?
@@ajbefr. lol
Good video! The driving, camera work and music were so good I forgot I was watching an Rc car and got shocked for a second when I didn't see a driver.
Just like a real drift car,the 'engine' placement, diff and suspension looks dope my guy
awesome build - really digging the look. and the fact you built it from scratch - and it drives like that (you're obviously very skilled) make it all the more impressive. Great job!
that's really awesome and the camber really helps with the slide . mad prop to the builder

@@DirtySk8RatStaney Thats nice, it has to be fun TOO!
killed the game fam, killed the game
This is old but still so cool to see a home built rc drift car hang with those off the shelf wallet busters
EVERYONE STOP HATING ON THE CHAMBER! There is nothing wrong with it it is just the style of the damn car!
+luis sandoval camber
Yeah and it's ugly as fuck
Camera person doing a very good job 👏

gotta say it looks like it drives good compared to how cheap it looks. I'll stay with my modified sakura d4 rwd.
Lol cheap? From an automotive perspective this is the most realistic Rc drift chassis i have seen yet.. But yeah.. i agree the execution could be better...
Power Evolultion RC the wheel angle looks crazy but if you look at it is drifting very well
Another unbelievable insane build, nice car.
great work! i like this chassis. no need to cover it up, keep it visible.
I would say too much camber, but it looks like it handle the course well. Nice and smooth transitions, nice job.
What a sick mod 🤘👍
Dude!!! That is siiiiiiick!! Awesome looking, and performing. Nice work man
Idk how I haven’t seen this sooner but I’m glad I finally found it 😮💨👌 thing looks like it’s Tesla powered with that electric motor hugging the fire wall real low. You should 3d print some Tesla stock wheels for it
This car is dope, I love the engine in the front.
work of art mate
Now that is impressive!
probs the coolest rc drift chassis ever imho.
even tho its not finished its the coolest one there!!
This inspired me to modify my beginner drift car.
some people always said that chamber is ridiculous but for me it is important for rwd rc/real drift cars to give more angles when it slides...
Wrong bro, when you have a lot of camber in the front it will increase the amount of traction at the front wheels when your mid drift
Slidewide true but it can also give you faster steering response, mechanically. and on some setups, more camber increases radius
That Rc car is a beast
that suspension geometry is fucking rad
People are so quick to call it retarded looking and fail to see the beauty on this beast. It has the same suspension geometry as the real S13 which no rc car has...this is a complete one off.
Incredible. But why so much camber?
IF this car had an articulated moving driver ... that would be over the top!!
this build is awesome is there anyway I could see more pics of this
HOLY **** THATS ALOT OF CAMBER AND TOW
that amout of chamber is to give the car control over the turns otherwise it will just spin....looks stupid but thats what it is for...
If you want RWD NON DIY THEN buy a sakura D4....much better ^___^
that's a sic rc dude love it
When you bought the wrong size camber links lol
But that's actually really sick
I would buy that
keep up the good work luv creativity it looks like your going for scale detail awsome
That's awesome how much would you charge to build one just like it with out the motor and esc or the lipo or remote or receiver just everything except those items I love drift rc but I can't find one like that at all thanks you do good work man 💯
how did you get all that figured out... impressive!! I tried DIY with Lego but got nowhere near as pro as yours. good job 👍 👍 👍
nice man....i just got a hpi e10. looking to get into this more!!
Great video!! Really cool car!! I love the front engine work!! I am a RC Dirt Oval guy so it has me thinking about a car to do for fun.

Like underground style 👍👍
That camber thou
looks real
that's freakin' awesome
Konstantin Zhvakin
Konstantin Zhvakin gth
thats dope dude 10/10
Did you really build a mini 240sx chassis? Hats off to ya! nice
the amount of camber on the front tires gave me hella anxiety
There would be a machine in the style of MAD MAX, it would look even better!
That's dope af
is there a video of the process and parts used? this thing is legit!
Wonder about this because drifters now days are moving the motor even behind the back wheels but it looks like the car Is super dialed in
All he needs now, is a little smoke and a LED tailpipe and it would be pretty damn epic.
at the first from thumbnail i tought that the car was crashed but after i saw the video i tought.... hmmm pitty there is no driver inside ^_^ but the way it looks i dont like, too much camber but over all great job i enjoyed it
The excessive camber ruied the whole thing , still nice to see a propper build chassis closser to how the real are made
Coolest rc ever
cool video
holy moly. thats a very nice project. i will like to take up this project where do you get the gears? get back to me asap please
rear looks awesome. front needs some work
It's a 240sx and the video is 2 minutes and 40 seconds long... lol
wow lol
I think it's a 180
.......Shhhhhh
Jack Duno Haha yeah... nobody has to know it's a 180
Pheeew* thanks ;)
Where did you get the body from? And what scale is it?
Really cool, got me thinking about making my own drift car, but with a rather 'large' twist.Have to ask, with it being RWD is he using a gyro or is it just pure skill? Must be really hard to control if he isn't using a gyro.

dear +robekensugi ,
To begin, I love your design!
I think of making myself one, but the only thing left for me to know, is: Where did you put the battery? I'd love to hear from you
Kind regards: Reza
he has a split battery in the middle, weight distribution 10 out of 10
Hey your car looks great. what's the name soundtrack
That shit looks hard.
thinking of building a custom slide rack for my fxx... idk how I should start
dats frinken crazy but awsome at the same time....u guys r crazy hahahah
nice car
i think it would be cool with a clear bonnet that lifts up and held down with magnets and made it look a little less like its not full of fat people in the car killing the wheel stance...
where he put the battery ?
Amazing car and what is the material on the floor that you drift on
I think I'll stick with my HPI E10 drift. I wouldn't trust myself with anything hand made. My E10 has seen many curbs in its lifetime.
you couldn't build this anyway so that all works out nicely Lol
Sean Roods LOL
Very cool! Do you have any advice or help for those of us that would like to build a car like that? What bevel gears, front suspension parts or geometry? Thanks !
Jimmy.
My friend, if there are project drawings of this vehicle, I would like to do the same.
I think it's perfect
the camber is fine but the ackerman/toe looks wonky af
how you do that chassis
gawdamn that is amazing.

is there a gyro? the steering is so smooth. I'm not hating I'm just curious.

thx great
I might be making something like this, Should I put a metal body on the chassis? Or would it be too heavy? Maybe plastic?
You should make it have a metal car cage then a plastic body so the body won't be so wobbly
Nice camber

That's right RC Drift.
Where hood , fenders ?
How does a rc car drift? And what brand should I buy so I can turn it into a rc drift car.
that is so cool
you the man g
