My Valentines Day/ First Solo Date

Shoutout to the women of the Daughters Academy for sowing to make this possible. God really showed up and showed out for me!
Im excited to share this experience with you all because this really meant a lot to me. I wrote in my prayer journal about wanting to expand in my season of singleness and use it to do all the things that I’ve been wanting to do with just me and God. One of those things being going on a solo date. Though I have gone out to eat by myself before , this time was much different.
It was very intentional and though out. I not only felt taken care of but I felt like a daughter of the King. I felt loved and cared for through this experience which is why it meant so much more to me than just going out to eat. Not only that but as I stated before this was my first official date. (Fun fact: I’ve never been taken in a date.) (and no the movies doesn’t count lol) I’m an adult now so this is definitely more official than any “date”outing I’ve been to and it’s definitely set the standard in more ways than one.
Again, I’m so grateful for this experience and to be able to share it. I hope this also encourages someone to know that God listens to your heart and good desires and will fulfill them in due timing. ✨💖
