Hooking this system up was a dream. I was actually late the day I decided to hook the new system up, panicking, thinking I wouldn’t have the time, but thank the Lord for how easy setup was. I had it out the box, connected to our system and ready to go in 5 minutes flat
Setup is extremely easy. I plugged in the transmitter, put batteries in the receiver (Bodypack), connected the transmitter to the PA, and voila, I could hear anything coming from the PA through the ear buds. The manual is nicely written.
Works flawlessly, you have a good distance before you loose signal. The sounds his great, 3 possibled adjustment. I use it for practice and show. Can be strero or two pack mono. It's a great buy
I am an electric bass player (5 string) and am not a professional musician by any stretch, but have had the pleasure of playing out at wineries, private events, and at my home church. I've played with groups as small as just me and an acoustic guitarist up to a full band with drums, keys, acoustic guitar, two electric guitars, and three vocalists. I have used stage monitors, wired in-ears, and wireless in-ears throughout the last few years of playing live.
we were using a super budget 2 channel wireless IEM system with 6 wireless receivers sharing two channels. Needless to say as a band we were more or less dealing with it more than we were actually happy with it. We had more than occasional dropouts, the sound coming from the receivers were not only so quiet that the system needed an additional purchase of an amp to be usable, but they also were extremely treble heavy and left a lot of lower frequencies completely lost in the mix. We were always trying everything in our power to get more of our lower frequencies to come through clearly on these and just ended up dealing with it because at least we were able to somewhat hear ourselves despite the quality.
Like most musicians, I much prefer to use in-ear monitors so I can hear exactly what I need in order to play my part in the group. There is no question that wired is the most reliable connection and, typically, the best way to get full range audio into one's ears (depending on the range of audio the connected equipment can pass). However, wired in-ears may not always be the best solution for every circumstance. Once a musician begins to move around while playing, wireless monitoring starts to become the best way to hear what is needed.
I lead a large 17-piece jazz band. We’re a community band with a very limited budget. Our PA is rather simple with two main speakers, and two inputs for vocals and keys. As you can imagine, a 17-piece band can be quite loud, which is problematic for our vocalist. With the main speakers doubling as vocal monitor, the struggle for the vocalist to hear herself sing is quite real.
my most favorite thing about this set are the clips on the receivers. NO MORE are the days of broken receiver clips for your waist and pocket! These clips are SO STURDY. Don’t EVER expect the clips to break, or for any of the receivers to fall off while you’re using em or even jumping around because these clips are so strong and sturdy.
Based on all the reviews I've seen here and read elsewhere, this product seems to be an excellent fit for my needs, particularly regarding sound quality and ease of use. I’m feeling confident in my decision so far.
Thanks again, Adam-I just placed it in my cart, and I'm really looking forward to diving into more of your informative videos. Your insights have become a trusted source for me, and I feel excited for what you have in store next!
I am in a pop punk band and we play shows very often and we tour, these have so far been rock solid at the smaller venues we play. If you’re playing a festival or something, I would probably purchase these with the Phenyx Pro antenna paddles which conveniently connect right up to these as well.
No need to label body packs. Each pack simply pairs to the channel of choice through infrared sensors. Select channel, hold pack to sensor. Done. You can easily switch between IEM mixes or rapidly share mixes with this feature.
Additionally, it looks incredibly durable and well-built; I can definitely envision these monitors standing the test of time, making them worth the investment in my opinion. It’s always a plus when you can trust that a product won't easily wear down after regular use.
On a brighter note, I'm definitely planning to order this one! Thanks, Adam, for the insightful review-your detailed explanations and real-world demonstrations were very convincing, and as a result, I just added it to my shopping cart! I can't wait to try it out myself and see if it lives up to all the hype.
Thanks once more for the detailed video review; it's greatly appreciated! Your efforts to help us make informed choices don’t go unnoticed, and I’m looking forward to what you produce next!
Sound quality is much better than any other budget IEM system you will find. Is it Sennheiser G4 quality? No. But there’s zero latency, and the minimal static noise you might hear is to the point where you’re not gonna dwell on it.
Worth consideration perhaps. Such as buy a few battery packs of whatever flavour tickles your fancy, perhaps even the exact same batteries in the gokarts, and then you just need someone to haul them over there and swap them out. Or set the thing up on a wagon and you roll it out each event. Or set up a solar panel perhaps.
And just for fun, this product sounds like a perfect gift idea-hint, hint! If anyone’s listening, I’d love to receive one of these as a gift; they seem like they would make a thoughtful and practical present that any tech lover would appreciate!
Well, after watching your video and hearing your compelling recommendations, I'm completely sold on it-sign me up! 😂 Your videos always seem to showcase the best options out there. Hello from Tom H, by the way! I just wanted to give you a shout-out for all the hard work you put into your content.
The first unit I purchased had an issue with changing channels on my receiver and contacted the customer service via Facebook and they responded within 24 hrs with some troubleshooting suggestions. Unfortunately, all steps didn’t clear the issue so I returned the first one and ordered a second one and it worked as it should.
I can't help but wonder if this item might go on sale on Amazon during the next Prime Day; I think that would be a fantastic opportunity to snag it while also getting those additional savings!
Speaking of which, do you plan on doing a follow-up video about the Xtuga Sem200? I genuinely miss your content deeply, and I think a follow-up would be great for those of us wanting to know more about long-term usage and any updates!
As far as the sound quality goes, I will say the one thing I was not pleased by was the In-Ear Monitor earpieces that came with the system. These were the only thing I would say was not good with what came with the system. They were about as useful as a pair of airplane earbuds if they actually had silicone tips. They were a bit tinny, and didn’t have much depth or soundstage in my opinion. They also offered zero noise isolation, I could literally hear everything else going on around me clear as day. I may be being a little bit harsh, but I’m spoiled with much better sounding earpieces
On a related note, do you know if these monitors ever go on sale? I’d love to grab one in the next week or two, especially if there's a sale coming up around the corner-getting a good deal would be the cherry on top of the cake!
I have a bit of an unusual query regarding the Xtuga Sem200 wireless in-ear monitor: could you shed some light on the return policy? It's crucial for potential buyers, like myself, to fully understand the terms and conditions before making a decision to invest in a product, especially since we want to be fully informed about our options should we need to return it for any reason.
By the way, do you know if refurbished versions of these monitors are available? I'm always on the lookout for deals, so I’m eager to snag the most value for my money while still getting a quality product. If you have any suggestions on where to find them, that would be super helpful!
Okay I hope I don't get wrecked on this post, but here goes.. I have looked all over for a straight answer and I can't find one. I'm fairly new to HAM and also am a pilot.. I understand that airbands are AM and amateur is FM but I don't really understand the difference between the two and as far as I can tell there is some debate about whether transmitting is possible. Also, if I decide to invest in this product, where can I expect to reach customer service should I need assistance? Having reliable customer service can make or break a purchasing experience, so knowing how to get help, whether it's through email, phone, or live chat, would really put my mind at ease.
Lastly, would it be possible for you to consider giving away your demo model to subscribers? I think a giveaway would excite your audience, and it would certainly spark a lot of engagement. I know I would definitely want one for my own home and would be super grateful if I got lucky!

You convinced me to buy one. A+ presentation

A couple of years ago, I installed AM transmitter at a church so that they could hold parking lot services during the pandemic.

This will be perfect for our band SMASHEMUP. Tucker and Tucker will love this. WHAT?

I like the loop out feed Loop out to feed another channel with same mix, or out to other audio devices in rack.
This is the best way to spend my money. I need it for sure. Nice editing on the vidoe too.
Looks like a pretty decent option. I wasn't sure at first. I need this in my world!
This is going to be a big seller and they are smart on marketing. Big win so far in my opinion! Thanks for the video. Have a great day

Looks like a good option. This brand is new to me but I trust you.
Our drummer spent a small fortune on his system and tried out mine and was flown away. Our other guitarist bought one the very next day.
This is something that would make a great gift to give. Looking forward to reading more about it.
Thank you Adam. This is a great option for me.
As soon as I have a little cash on the 1st of 15th I am going to pick this up for sure.
You seem to have more truthful reviews that Unbox Therapy and Mr Beast. You do a good job like consumer reports.
I saw your Consumer Electronics Show videos and I subscribed to the page. You seem to do a thorough and in depth review of these items.

Excelente producto ampliamente recomendado
Looks like a really good brand. I am surprised I never heard of them before.
These things are easily 5x louder than our previous packs. No need for headphone amplifiers at all.
I'll probably order tomorrow
This review gave me the information I needed to click that buy box.

I have a band that plays 1950s and 1960s rock with the Geezer in Tampa. Tobacco Road.

I need something like this for my independent wrestling events so I can communicate with the TV crew and the referee from the back.

The pruce seens reasinable. How much more is 4 receivers?
Can I add receivers after I buy the 2 pack in case I need them? Certainly want this. Thanks for the video.
What are the main competitors? Can u do a comparison?
Recomendado.

Can I get this on any other sites like ebay?
What about a 100V PA system? You can run long speaker wires with that. No need for external power.

-Input peaking? Input volume control knobs for each channel on front of display.
If I buy this where do I get customer service?
You need to let your beard grow out for about 6 months and see how you like it. Might order this next week.
This probably sounds like a weird question but what is the return policy?

How do I know if it will work in one year? We could use this for our band.
What exactly is UHF anyway?

Are they out of China or Japan? Seem like a good company based on your info.
How is the customer service from this company.
