I am lucky to have been handed down a medicine song, a powerful message which started hundreds of years ago for Resistance and grew into a song for Non-Violent ways towards Peace. An old melody rewritten for new ways. For Ce@sef!re. I explain this song more here, why I keep it alive and growing, its relevance to right now and a little excerpt to help refuel your heartbroken tank.
I thank my Dad Sean Tyrrell for passing down this wisdom and will continue to sing this up and pray that Art cuts through where politics are failing. I will Rise Of The Moon all over this planet as this song is pure medicine.
I have been passed this song for a reason so I will be singing these words “Let’s be friends this New Year Coming” to this old melody twice more before we end this horrific year.

I will continue to show up and remind us through this song that unsolvable situations have been solved.
But with or without Ce@sef!re, I will keep showing up as my ancestors did. I will keep singing this song into every room I am in across Jan-March from QLD to TAS to NSW and WA. I will keep singing this song as we witness live the crumbling of all colonial powers. I will sing this song as we all find the strength to Stand Up and Be Counted as countless other countries, generations and small groups of committed citizens have done.
Let a small excerpt from this song replenish your tank. I invite you to any and all of the spaces I will sing this in. Learn the lyrics, sing it with me. We need our lungs full of hope and our tanks full for this transition from 2023 to 2024. From the old colonising ways towards Humanity first.

I didn’t realise how much I needed this medicine, until I listened to this this morning. The tears are not dousing the fire, they are fueling it. And in the smoke I welcome Her, and with Her I rise. Every night She shall remind me, to rise with Her. Untill all are free, until all dance together, at the rising of every Sister Moon and every Brother Sun , voices carried on the winds and waters.
