I had off from work today and got a lot accomplished - read my Bible and prayed, made hard boiled eggs, did a load of laundry, dusted and vacuumed my living room, mowed some yard, did about 2-1/2 hours of business/paperwork, did dishes, cleaned the outside of my stove and fridge, did some planning, ran two errands, rearranged my deck, and made some green smoothies. What I plan to still do - pack mine and my husband's lunches for tomorrow, do some more dishes and clean up my kitchen more, more planning and more paperwork, and weed eat. :)
A few places you can start are North Carolina Agriculture Office, the North Carolina Extension Office and the North Carolina Native Plant Society. Since your new to outdoor gardening it’s a safe place to start. Love your videos. Thanks for being real with your videos.
I always appreciate the thought and effort you put into your vlogs- it really is a thing of beauty! Tip: Consider begonias- they are hearty, durable and (best part!) keep their flower on all summer long! I believe they are a type of succulent, coming in pink, white or yellow. Tuberous begonias have huge blossoms. Also curcumin is a planter favorite
For plants coming from nursery containers, I always "wiggle" the roots a bit and add some "smart start" (you can find it in a bag at the garden center). it helps with transplant shock. I love gardening. Great therapy!
hahahahah I did a clothing swap once but is was super crazy hahahaha we did a competition with my friends. We put all the clothes in the center of the room, we set a clock and then someone said: go! and we jumped like crazies and get things during 45 seconds each time. It was a total mess but we laugh super hard, hahahaha. I know it does not work for what you are planing, but that really reminded me that time, it was super fun. I'll plan another event but more in your nice style. Hugs from Bogota.
I really don't know how you do it, but everytime I watch your videos I feel so motivated to make a to do list and tackle all the tasks I want to finish!
I love how I can always rely on you to upload videos that are positive and motivating, Ashlynne! Your presence is just so calming.... Thanks for all that you do! Hope to see more videos like this in the future 😊
A very nice video again. Daffodils don’t need much. Their bulbs will fill itself with water when you water them in dry times and they will return later because they collected everything they need in their bulbs. If they get too wet the bulbs will start to rot.
Another great video Ashlynne. Loved your hair like this, you should wear it like this more often. In terms of the daffodils, they grow wild here in the UK so the most care they would get is rainwater and sunshine. As a couple people have also commented they come up every year. We have a few gardening programmes here in the UK (don't know about the US) but maybe try watching some of them as they can be really helpful especially for new gardeners. The one I would recommend is Gardener's World, you should be able to watch clips of it on UA-cam as it's a BBC show so possibly unavailable in the US unless you watch via a VPN. Hope that helps. Look forward to seeing your garden bloom
Oooh thank you! I actually was thinking that as I edited the video definitely going to 🥰 Also, thank you for the daffodil tips! I will definitely check out Gardener’s World! I’m sure I can find it somewhere 🤍
#Ashlynn, it's really a joy listening to your videos. You can hear the smile in your voice and sense the happiness/joy that you have in living life. Thank you for sharing and being such an encouragment to the people who follow you.
I just got back from spending the week with my kids in Raleigh where I bought bee pollen for the first time. Think I’ll try your blueberry smoothie this am!😊
My Mammy (maternal grandma) has been gone almost 30 years. The crocus and daffodil she planted years before her death still come up every year (southeast Ohio). We've done nothing for them - they seem to be really hardy and don't need much assistance. Check with your county's extension office - they usually have Master Gardener classes where you can learn so much about all things gardening.
Hi! Do you have a recommendation for finding an accountant you like working with and trust? Thanks for putting out such relatable and encouraging content!
Daffodils are one of the easiest to grow. You don’t really have to do anything to them. A good drink of water once in a while through the harsh summer months but will come back every year and spread. I have them all in my yard and they just grow wild
You’re welcome. Another easy one are Hostas. My grandmother gave me a few of hers a few years ago. They also spread out and are easy to break apart and move to different locations. If you ever need tall flowers I’d go with Gladiolus. My daughter planted a few bulbs about 3 years ago and they have just over taken the area. Again, super easy. I have to choose easy bc I tend to kill things that are high maintenance lol
I just hosted a huge kid's clothing swap at my church in January. It was open to the public, so it was definitely a huge task! But because kid's grown out of clothes so fast ots nice to swap with others instead of buying all the time.
Hi Ashlynne! I love the quote from Quincy Jones at the beginning of the video! Please could you share what you were writing in? Also, that nail varnish is nice! What's the shade? Have a great rest of the weekend. 😊
This kind of videos are definitely my favourites, they not just entertain me but motivates me to get my stuff done! Also I love the aesthetic and the effort you put on make videos with excellent quality PS: I recently started to make eggs and toasts after I saw this lunch in most of your videos, and I must say that I pretty obsessed with it. It's so simple yet sooo delicious
How long do you let things sit up for sale? I struggle with holding onto things I’m trying to sell for too long in the hopes I’ll her back some of my money.

Yeah! So nice!
I like how washing sheets was on your fun list. I'm OCD so I wash sheets each week and call it fun time too.🤗

WoW. I took time off work and slept till 2pm. Than got cleaned up just to watch UA-cam😅 NEED to be more like you.
@@rosemarywilliams9969 This is not a typical day off for me. I work part time so I have several days off a week and I also am prepping for company. :)
The clothes swap is a great idea! Hope you can vlog it so we can learn from your experience. Thanks and have a good one!

Hi! Can you do a minimalist grocery haul and minimalist pantry/week of meals. Trying to cut back on groceries and food waste! Thanks!
