i guess because he set to magnetic fuse at 4m depth afaik/imo that's rather a weak hit, BUt has the huge advantage that the angle of the hit is very unimportant. i agree, 2 max 3 hits with impact fuse at 90degree would have sunk it without any doubt same for 2-3 with magnetic under keel - problem is, in convoys you often accidentially fire at the wrong target and it has different keel depth which can result in minor/no damage at all. interesting startegy tbh, because i always used magnetic fuses under keel, but this way the angle becomes way less important, which makes it useful for quick response (he didn't had to in this case imo)
Sh4, Sat on the route of a convoy for about 2 days, perfect position, fire a spread of all 6 torps at an overlapping set of ships, all 6 miss, fucking rage quit after that
@@oneloveonelifeman yes you can, but it's extremely tricky and often crashes more than 10 times in a row til it finally successfully loads the savegame (in campaign)
