Thank you! I successfully replaced my 5510 keypad. The keypad I bought had the "ribbon" cables slightly off, but I was able to manage to make it work without any major hick-ups. Highly recommend watching video all the way through first. Also, it's important to realize that while this can be done, most of the screws are tiny, having the recommended size Philips and star driver heads is helpful to help not strip threads and to easily grip the tiny screws, and it's a good idea to take a few pictures / videos of your own uninstall for any variations.

Awesome video, installation was a success. My 5520 configuration was a little different, took about 2 hours but I went very slowly and documented my steps. Way less $$ and time than buying a new laptop.

Great video. Used for a 5540 keyboard. It was a little different but close enough. Great tip on marking steps and magnetic board. There are so many screws... Also recommend taking a couple pics during the process. My keyboard did not have that screw cover sheet in the middle, so I transferred. It was not very smooth, but it worked. Not sure if needed, but I know grounding is killer in laptops so I tried to repeat every piece tape and cover that was oem. Highly recommend laptop/mobile phone toolkit. Well worth it.

hello brother I'm confused about an issue like I'm using dell precision 5520 ,one day suddenly I saw left arrow key in keyboard working auto like auto pressing but when I press right arrow key than problem goes pause for few mins . again by mistake when I press infected key than vise versa . so what's the solution should be.??
