That's awesome, I have never seen elevators like that before. I've always seen the ones where you press the up or down and then the number inside. Closest I've seen are ones that only serve certain floors in a tall building.

I like the voice on these. They sound so much better than the ones at the JW Marriott in New York where I have seen a few videos of them. Those sound like the speakers blown on about to go out and those one sound muffled where as these ones are so nice and clear.

When was the elevator modernized? More likely, these may not even be Miconic 10 because the display is not available on Miconic 10. So this may be ID instead because Miconic 10 was recently discontinued.

Actually there are many Miconic 10 installations in Jakarta, Indonesia. Menara BCA, APL Tower, 88@Kota Kasablanka A, Menara DEA 2, etc. have it.

it’s because the system is actually referring to as “elevator car”. The elevator car is basically the platform inside the shaft that goes up and down.
