- It's time for another "what if" video, and this time it's surrounding one of the stars of the upcoming All Stars 6, Miss Eureka O'Hara....I mean Eureka...I mean EUREKA!.
We all remember the shocking moment she was dismissed from RuPaul's Drag Race Season 9 after suffering a knee injury in that season's saw trap challenge- I mean cheerleading challenge. But what if she hadn't hurt herself? How far into the season would she have gone? I'm here to solve the mystery and find out!

No offense, Peppermint crushed the Macho Man lip sync, she would have won against Eureka as well. Eureka would have done well but Pep served above and beyond in that episode.
Honestly I think Peppermint was better in Macho Man then she was in Music but either way it’s an underrated performance

In a less strong season I could see her being top 2 or even winning, but not season 9, it was just the strongest top 4 ever
I personally don’t think peppermint was pushed thru, but I do believe she’d win all her lip syncs
Also of note, that Charlie Hides cracked a rib during the cheerleader stunt and was ridiculed because she didn't dance, etc during her lip sync. Eureka wasn't the only one hurt.

@@Mariasantacruz2005 I believe Charlie said later that it was an old injury, but she re-cracked it during the stunt. Pep even confirmed it in one of the Bootleg Opinion videos, but that section was sped up. I think Jakeoynce slowed it down and covered it in a video.
I really wouldn’t see Eureka making it that far in season 9 tbh, she was at a different level in season 10 that she wasn’t at in season 9
She might have been obnoxious but she was always pretty consistent for what she did do in season 9. She was either high or safe the few episodes she was in. I’d imagine she would have made it to top 6/5 on season 9.
I disagree , like the post above me . The episodes before she was high or safe . Look at the first episode she proved that her weight doesn’t affect her fashion choices that’s a big plus for her. Her in the musical she did good and the acting as well. I think she would make it at least top 5 or top 6.
I actually think Eureka would've taken Sasha's Lunch Lady role and Sasha would've played Farrah's role imo
Alexis is one of my fave snatch game performances tbh, she just absolutely embodied Liza and every line they showed from her was hilarious, so no way Eureka would win over her even though she did good in the S10 snatch game

i really don’t see eureka with peppermint and trinity on episode 9, i would switch eureka and valentina, eureka was the only bestie nina had during s9 so... and remember how well they worked during episode 4

@@masonabernathy471 well this is RPDR we are talking about. Those producers dont care about queens wanting to make themselves look a certain way. They will still edit it how they want, and push who they want. So the queens opinions for that are basically just heard, but barely taking into consideration, or not even heard at all.

I disagree SO VEHEMENTLY with Eureka getting 5th. They would put her in the final 4 so we could get our Trinity vs Eureka lip sync

What if Charlie Hides had also been removed like Eureka and returned for Season 10?
For context, Charlie cracked a rib in the same challenge but didn't tell anyone, hence she didn't dance at all
She probably would've gotten top 4 because she did well in challenges mostly
But who in the top 4 would she replace?

@@luismunante2472 I have a hard time believing Eureka, even though she is pretty good, could beat Peppermint in a lip sync. The only edge I see Eureka having is track record even though that many top placements was a bit of stretch, but Peppermint would serve a much better lip sync
Pep may have been favored in s9, but the producers definitely made a good call for that one
I was literally just thinking about what would've happened here! I definitely agree with most of what you said, but I do think they would've given Snatch Game to Eureka and given Alexis the full "always the bridesmaid never the bride" fantasy, and Trinity still would've taken the Makeover. Curious about the Rigging of S9 because I always thought Peppermint got the short end of the stick on S9 (she was supposed to be eliminated had they not done the lip sync for the crown and had a Top 3) but I haven't watched it in a while and I'm a delusional Peppermint fan so.
By the way, what happened was Eureka tore her ACL and had to get surgery on it - she actually wasn't even sure she would be able to come back to S10
I don’t really get how she could be favored when she was in the bottom twice and was actually supposed to be eliminated. Favoritism would be Alaska on AS2, Eureka on S10 or even Trinity on AS4
I really wanna see what if Season 7 was judged fairly just because of all the bad judgment and sending people home for no reason! Although it was a “bore” to some, it’s super interesting to see how much crack the production was on.
Unpopular opinion: you gave them way too much credit for the season and don’t think they would have lasted anywhere near as good. PLUS how can you do this and not have a Euerka vs Trinity lip sync?

Also, it’s worth mentioning: I think I read somewhere that EUREKA is non-binary and goes by they/them pronouns. I don’t know if they’ve publicly stated that anywhere, but it may be worth note given their upcoming time on AS6.
Eureka has talked about this before saying that they used to identify and present as female and now their gender identity is more fluid (I’m paraphrasing a lot here, but I know Eureka has spoken about this in videos around UA-cam)

I wish they didn't injure themselves, and honestly that's because I'd rather not suffer seeing them in 3 different seasons..
Sasha being robbed in safe for the roast rather than high does not make sence in my fantasy
I recall an interview with peppermint recently where pepperment said she was actually eliminated in the penultimate episode, either that or wasn't sure if they wanted her to stay, but the producers contacted her right before the finale and told her to start preparing lipsyncs. That to me suggests they didn't care for peppermint that much, but only kept her in the finale because of the change in format due to reception of the Season's lipsyncs. I see eureka beating peppermint, and then in the final 4, would lose to Sasha or Shea, but may or may not be trinity in the first lipsync. Either way, Shea or Sasha wins overall.
Yeah, originally there was supposed to be a top 3 and Peppermint was supposed to be eliminated right before the final, either by lip sync or just by Ru, but they told her after filming to just be ready in case they decided to do the lip sync for the crown ending which they ultimately decided. Eureka is a good lip syncer, but I don’t imagine her taking down Peppermint even if she had a better track record

@@rikux27 maybe, but the again this hypothetical track record for Eureka was kinda a stretch, like 5 weeks in the top is a lot because S9 Eureka was nowhere near as polished as S10 Eureka
I also wonder how season 10 would've turned out. Would they play up the The Vixen vs Aquaria storyline? Would Aquaria still win? Would The Vixen still be portrayed as a villian??

I literally just finished watching season 9 for the first time - perfect timing!
My theory: Nina could not have given up if Eureka stayed because you could see that they really supported each other during the season and Eureka could really boost Nina’s confidence

they also filmed jackie cox’s elimination and put her in the bottom yet she was saved or pushed a lot. just because peppermint is likeable doesn’t mean she didn’t have rigging

I think you missed one fact, Trinity and Eureka were casted to play a similar role as Coco and Allysa on season 5, so I guess, that top 5 lip sync was intended to be for them from the beggining, if not the first round of the lipsyncs for The crown.
Also, Eureka leaving played a major role on Sasha winning, because even if she was amazing, they probably never thought of allowing her to go further than top 6-7, but since the major rivalry that was supposed to lead the drama on the season couldn't continue, they had to make up another queen (and I guess the Sasha x Shea bromance was good enough to fill that blank).

I could be horribly wrong but I thought I saw Peppermint give an interview where they filmed an ending of her being eliminated and one where she made top 4 so maybe Eureka could have made it to top 4
It would be so cool to continue this 'sliding door' series with other 'what if?' scenarios. E.g. what would have happened if Willam didn't quit, if Shangela hadn't popped out the box, if Monique hadn't done a cartwheel, if all the porkchop queens in 13 had been fully eliminated, if covid hadn't disrupted UK2 etc

I think it would be interesting as a follow up to this - what would happen on season 10 if Eureka didn't get a free pass to return, so no Eureka in S10. I think Cracker would end up in the finale personally.
Eureka is good with challenges and also good lip syncer. She also bring the drama specially her clash with Trinity. So probably she'll make it to Top 4

Part of me thinks that if Eureka hadn't been injured, she might have gone home in the Rusical anyway. She didn't do great as North and her runway was bad. Granted she might have done better as North/had a different role if she wasn't injured, but still.
If she had been in the bottom (Also if she wasn't injured) Eureka could have easily beat either Farrah or Cynthia in a lipsync

I’m guessing Eureka probably would’ve gotten a different role, since they said it was fitting considering the injury. But I agree the North performance was pretty weak. Though like with most rusicals I blame it less on Eureka and more on the writing because wtf was that ending

for the Pilot challenge, I think Eureka and Nina would pair up potentially? They did well together in a previous challenge as a pair n I think it'd be interesting to see them work together again

I love ur take on this season, however where I disagree is with the pilot episode. I feel that because of eureka's drama w trinity and also eureka's friendship with nina, that they would have swapped places, so eureka would have been with nina and pep, and trinity and valentine left, or maybe even just eureka in a two with nina. In this scenario I feel that nina would have been saved from the bottom because of her chemistry with eureka,maybe even snapping her out of her funk and getting her head in the game. In that case, trinity would probably have been btm 2 with valentina, sending her home leaving eureka, sasha, shea, trinity, pep and nina. I dont even know what would happen in the makeover ep, but it would have been nice to see nina be supported by eureka, those two were soooo wholesome together.
Actually, now that I think about it, shea didn't do that well in the lipsync and nina could have WIPED THE FLOOR with her if she tried. Plus, in this scenario she was only in the bottom once, against aja, so I could see nina winning, especially if she was in a better headspace with eureka supporting her. Imagine the absolute gag of nina eliminating shea, the frontrunner, two episodes before the finale..... I LIVE.

It's hard because she could go far but at the same time, she was so different on S9. I feel like in the roast, she could go too raunchy and get put in the bottom (similar to A'Whora in UKS2). I also think she'd be safe in the Snatch Game. Nina was hillarious.

She didn't break her knee cap. It dislocated but popped back right back into place but afterwards, you need about a month to recover to be able to walk straight by using use crutches & or a knee bandage until your feel fine and your knee doesn't hurt. but it can happen again. I know all this because I popped both my knees out 3 times on each leg 1 month recover each time wearing knee support for 2 months. if it's a full dislocation with your knee cap pops out but does pop back & is stuck, you have to go to the hospital for them to pop your knee cap back in place and wear a cast around your knee for 6 weeks. So, Eureka's injury was a minor dislocation. because she immediately got up and her knee cap was back in its original place.
this was a fun thought experiment! and i'm glad this video wasn't just eureka slander, i genuinely like the bitch too, so this was nice :)
