This catwoman is a work of art for sure. I really labour of love and I really can not wait to have this incredible figure. Jazzinc taking it to another level entirely
@@myanon6671I believe it will be as good if not better. They wouldn’t have gone to this amount of trouble to get every single detail right to let it fail. I don’t believe it. This is a labour of love for all involved and I, amongst many, eagerly await what will follow.
@@mandyburton9798 really? You do realize these are being produced in China and not the people that made these prototypes? Gullibility might be your Super power.
@@myanon6671 I don’t think I’m gullible I just want to trust that jazzinc will do an amazing job. I believe in supporting companies who put their heart and soul into a project. Time will tell but I am extremely confident and happy. After all hottoys and inArt are made in china and they produce amazing products.

Sadly, I couldn’t be on here as it was live, but I watched a bit when I got home. Then spent like an hour thinking who do I get preorder it from? I’ve bought from onesixthkit before but never from Spec. And I was wondering how would get the batches first! I ended up preordering at onesixthkit. However after finally finishing watching this video and hearing that batches might be just one month apart that is definitely great news. We’ve waited years for a great version of this figure and I believe we’ll be getting it with Jazzinc. Joost is a collector and artist and knows what he wants, so I’m not worried. He mentioned if preorders come in quickly and past the level he expects he could possibly throw in extra gifts or accessories. If it happens I would love that head sculpt with the bird flying out her mouth!! Or full unmasked head sculpt with real hair but he did say it wasn’t possible at this time. So will he ever revisit this for a 2.0 version? Maybe with civilian Celina Kyle in her tan rain coat??? Or a head sculpt two pack with unmasked head sculpt and masked bird flying out!!! Hey Hot Toys has never done that? I’m excited the next project is Danny Devitos Penguin and a two pack too, I’m in! Finally thanks to One Sixth Scale Man for this launch party stream, Joost and Dobbs!
Heh I'm really glad - I made the comment way back on Joost's FB site that in the film they weren't true stitches but white latex painted/stuck on so as not to pucker the latex suit itself (a costume designer I worked for on another film did it) which actual stitching would do. The lack of puckering (as opposed to "not falling apart") governed everything, in support of the artistic intent. 'Stitched together" in the figurative/metaphorical sense. As opposed to literal (don't get me started Lael 😉)!
Wanted this so badly but the mark up on OneSixthKit and Spec Fiction was beyond ridiculous. Really wish Jazzinc wouldn't have mentioned the pricing last night because that's not what it is for those in the US. Maybe it's the fact that I'm out of room or I don't want to spend that much for one figure, but this collector is getting to the point where I'm pushing back on some of these prices. I know it's like crack and a lot of collectors are hurting because of the addiction. I'm trying to stay as balanced as possible. It's so hard.
I ordered from spec. It looked to me like it was 10 bucks cheaper there. Then I saved 30 by signing up for emails and liking on Facebook etc. then after I ordered they sent me a coupon for 30 dollars off my next order. So not bad. And their total price as far as I know includes shipping and taxes. So their markup isn’t as high as you think.
@@tupole272 I didn't see a single option for PayPal on their site and if you wanted to do payment plan it cost even more. At least that's what I saw with Spec. So weird.
@@alastairmurray5061 It does. But still more than it should be. At least in my opinion. If I want the DX basic is over $500 for one fig. I'm hoping this thing is amazing but for that price I still can't justify it. It kills me because I really want this.
What’s with not being able to place an order direct. I had to order from Spec Fiction. I thought you guys hold the license. I’m already getting screwed by two Inart orders.
Because Sideshow owns the distribution rights for North America. Hot Toys and Sideshow are best friends. Jazzinc is a competitor of Hot Toys. So Sideshow blocked Jazzinc's ability to distribute directly to North America
I’m just hoping I don’t get screwed again by third party distributors. TW screwed me out of $480 for an Inart Gandalf that never got delivered. I’m still waiting on a Superman and Harry Potter from Specfiction. I hope Jazz Inc. makes enough and keeps inventory till all preorders have been for-filled.
Obviously the "intended" look of the suit is what the prop presents on screen. Just like the "cheap knockoff" batmobile presented as much better and cleaner on TV. I don't think we need a hand-held model of the industry tricks used to achieve that look.
I figure Spec Fiction is in California like Sideshow and already included the free shipping to Canada, I went with Spec Fiction Shop with the Deluxe 2-pack. First JazzInc 1/6th scale figure to own and hope won't be disappoint on release in Q1 or Q2 2026. It has been long time coming seeing Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman come to fruition in 1/6th scale form as we all 1/6th scale collector waiting for Hot Toys or even InArt to do one, but who knows, may be these two studio will do one after seeing JazzInc release and healthy competition all around. Exciting time!
They might but by waiting until Jazz preorder went live they lost a lot of potential sales. If they were gonna do it they would have been smart to announce before JazzInc preorder dropped. It's why I don't think they'll announce anytime soon now. If ever.
After seeing the defects in the body of the 89 they are forcing on their customers I have no confidence in their products. Prototype looked good. Finished body looked like crap on their 89. No trust left to pre-order.
Price is far too high. I doubt the painted faces from China will be very good. Shipping is high as well. These guys screw most things up in some way so I'm out.
I pre-ordered the deluxe 2 pack. Can’t wait.

Yeah well, your figure will be painted by some Chinese line worker so don't count on getting what you are being shown in the prototype.

Will diorama be available separately or we have to tear up 2-pack with friends? It's kinda not even logical that 2-pack have 1 diorama
