watching rollercoasters off-ride like this is so satisfying. they just swoop through the air so smoothly, it’s kinda beautiful
I agree! :)
Wing coasters may not be the best to ride, but they are so nice to look at.
I definitely agree
It's almost as satisfying as riding them yourself.
@@porrasm true especially with a smooth coaster with airtime.
These rides are just awesome to look at
They truly are! :)

Fantastic video! It's no secret that I am a big fan of B&M coasters and this video really does a great job of explaining who the firm is. Great job once again.
Thank you! I think most are a fan of B&M coasters, they do the job perfectly. :)
Indeed they do!
I'm sure b&m is pissed off at universal Orlando for removing dragon challenge eventhou I never rode it
I have to say, if I ever got to ask the creators one thing, it would be how they managed to construct such beautifully smooth rides. I've only ridden a couple of their rollercoasters but the smoothness and ride experience is something unbeatable. I'd love to see them continue to introduce new and exciting elements and ride techs in the near future
I would ask when will you make custom loopers
I will always have such a soft spot in my heart for Air. I went from liking coasters to loving them with that first ride on it. It was so smooth, so beautifully swooping, it captured my imagination.
The fact that the whole video comes without a "but" or "however" when it comes to reliability and success says a lot. B&M are incredibly accomplished on creating rides that are packed with thrill and very often huge in their own league (such as big looping inverted and floorless coasters), or towering over whole parks like their latest Gigas, and yet, they are crowd pleasing, silky smooth and that counts a LOT when a park is investing million on a new ride. Kudos to the company for its admirable track record (pun intended lol). And for everyone saying they are non innovative, take a look at what their designs brought to the early 90s and how that would set the bar higher for the entire coaster industry - not to mention the inverted coaster breakthrough itself.
no accident happened yet
They are, as a company, a true example of absolutely exceptional engineering at play. Their rides have great capacity, great reliability, great longevity, and they are incredibly (almost unbelievably) safe. Definitely a very different design philosophy from say Intamin (who deserves much credit for pushing boundaries to new levels, but sometimes with substantial consequences), but once B&M does offer a product, you can have a high level of confidence that product will excel in every measurable metric. I also love how they use a US steel producer for all their rides.
Can’t go wrong with a B&M coaster! Great video, very informative 👍🏻
I agree! Thanks man. :)
You can technically go wrong... Vortex?
Im sure b&m is pissed off at universal Orlando for removing dragon challenge
@@coreylineberry8557 Alot of people love Vortex actually.
@@ArrowThrills Universal sucks because they became the first to delete a B&M. Just sell both coasters to separate parks. Discovery Kingdom could have red and Michigan's Adventure could have blue. And I'm not even kidding about the latter, they need a decent roller coaster
Gotta love the look and sound of a B&M. Not only can you identify one by its sturdy box smoothly flowing track, you can also often hear them quite a distance away, as air being pushed through and over the track makes a very distinctive low roaring sound like a large turbofan aircraft.
Should have gotten a B&M.
No Coaster Studios memes allowed. ;)
You should get a B&M
Harry, does a boomerang fly off the the track?
COUGH COUGH Coaster Studios
TheCoasterCompleater yes They should Have B&M Girl Yes They Should
B&M really does have a long history of making world-class roller coasters, and I'm glad you made a video on it :) They are just a high-quality roller coaster manufacturer, and they are well-deserved to have a video like this explaining their work since 1988, when they first became public. Like you said, I hope their number of coaster models expand within the next several years, since they are currently my favourite coaster manufacturer.
I definitely agree, they've created many fantastic rides. :)
Im sure b&m is pissed off at universal Orlando for removing dragon challenge
*watches the history of B&M, Still cries when its mentioned Dueling Dragons no longer exists*
Gotta wonder too why they just outright scrapped it as opposed to saving or selling or just moving it somewhere else!?!
@@jey240 that was actually on universal I believe. They didn't want the rides going anywhere else though if you go to busch gardens their invert is very similar to the ice side

I’ve watched this video around 15 times and each time I’ve learned something new
Awesome, thanks for watching! :)
Call me a fanboy, but this is easily the best roller coaster manufacturer in my biased opinion. First coaster I ever rode was a B&M, which was Medusa in Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, and it was an absolutely enjoyable experience.
Arrow is the best!
Rmc is better
Every B&M coaster I've been on has been fantastic. I haven't been on that many coasters yet, but all my favorites so far that are still standing are B&M.
Wow this video is awesome! B&M is one of the best rollercoaster manufacturers, I love all of their models! I see a lot of amazing coasters from my home parks in this video. You did a great job with this! 🎢🎢
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
Itamin is better
I'm sure b&m is pissed off at universal Orlando for removing dragon challenge
I love the roar the B&Ms like Kumba, the original Hulk, Raptor (CP), Nemesis, and Green Lantern make. That’s why B&M is my favorite.
They do have a fantastic roar. :)
Yeah too bad stupid neighbors and environazis want them silenced. Hell even Cedar Point which has absolutely no neighbors had to silence Gatekeeper
Will forever be a B&M fanboy, since they opened nemmy at Alton Towers, so many wonderful rides. Shambahla/Mako are amazing! I was recently blown away by montu at busch, just expected a bog standard B&M, then remembered, B&M dont do Bog standard!
I agree, they've made a large number of fantastic rides! :)
Itamin is better, I'm sure b&m is pissed off at universal Orlando for removing dragon challenge
@@ArrowThrills nah

Love that Thunderbird was mentioned!
It looks like a great coaster! :)
Those title cards for rides were amazing and helpful! Great video, easily your best.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it, it means a lot! :)
B&M are definitely not the innovators, but they are the refiners.
I agree! :)
I really don't get this...it seems like they innovated alot (invert, wing, dive, standup, floorless, hyper...). Why are they definitely not innovators?
They didn't create the first hyper, arrow did, they just made them better, X2 is technically a wing coaster they just took out the rotation and made them something different, the arrow suspended came out before the invert but those couldn't do inversion, Togo made the first stand up, but they all suck compared to the B&M's. Floorless is a cool take on standard trains, but not "revolutionary". The dive model is really the only thing that was innovated, and that's really just a holding break before the drop, but they are different and really cool. Heck, even the Flying Dutchman came out before the B&M flyer, but the Vekoma's are nothing compared to the B&M's
x2 is not a wing coaster they invented them, suspendeds arent in the same group as inverts so they invented inverts, and floorless is something new they invented
my point is that the idea was already there for both the wing and invert. Even in this video its mentioned how the arrow suspended was an earlier concept of hanging below the track. and also, x2 is technically a wing coaster, the seat rotation is an extra element
WOW, did not realize B and M's first roller coaster was at my home park!
this was super informative, entertaining and beautifully edited! thank you!!
No, thank you for the kind comment! :)
Thank you for making this video! I am a B&M lover so I love to see which models came first and all of that
No problem, thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)
RIP Dueling Dragons!
Matt Lydon I'm sure b&m is pissed at universal Orlando for removing dragon challenge eventhou I never rode it
Did it get renamed? I rode it as Dueling Dragons.
@@bprebula yes it got renamed dragon challenge because a tourist lost his eye and it stopped dueling
I worked on that ride and rode it every day for about a year--miss it a lot.
@@ArrowThrills no, it was renamed because of the harry potter theming they added to the area.

Rmc is better, I like B&M and intamin the same
B&M roller coasters are also the most colourful in the world as well. A lot of their products such as gatekeeper and kumba and montu for example their colour schemes are so perfect and just makes you want to look at the rides more in a beautiful way. They're my favourite manufacturer and nemesis is my favourite roller coaster I've ever ridden so far... although it's a long time since I been to a theme park.

I demand a Pinfari: Explained video
One day maybe ;)
@Darth MGTOW Pinfari: Why???
@chef Darth MGTOW the coaster fan from hogwarts there's an explanation for the headache after any of their coasters with over the shoulder restraints. That's for sure
And an explanation on why they didn't just stick to making Zyklons and Wacky Worms, at least those aren't as rough as their RC line of coasters.
Very educational video. I learned alot. Great job, maybe you can do intamin explained in the future.

Thx for another entertaining video. B&M is my favorite manufacturer due to smoothness and intensity! :)Did u see that Theme Park Crazy just got 20,000 subs?
No problem, thanks for watching! I did see, it's awesome that he got 20K. A massive congratulations to him :)
B&M always gives us smooth and comfortable ride with comfy restraint

“Should have gotten a B&M”
Dueling Dragons was definitely a career highlight for them. Too bad it's being removed 😭

Thanks for the kind words about the videos, it means a lot!
Their coasters arent as intense as some others but they're still up there, and they're also so much more smooth and comfy than any other I've ever ridden, definitely the best company
I never realized how many B&M’s Six Flags Magic Mountain has. Geeeeez.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. It's a great series! ;)
As a Swiss I must say that I am so proud! Most Swiss people dont know the fact that B&M coasters and Intamin are engineered here and are in fact one of the best manufacturers!
My favorite B and M coaster is Fury 325
Coaster Creations It’s *B&M! Why do some people type “B and M”?
Awesome! :)
Started in Switzerland, then known worldwide.
Intamin also did that, but whatever.
RMC is about to do that also, with two additions outside of the U.S. in 2019
*cough cough* what about Wildfire? That was made in Sweeden. That was a RMC. *sighs*
depression is for the rich ?
contracted by RMC however subcontracted by VEKOMA since RMC owns some old assets from ARROW DYNAMICS and ARROW had VEKOMA as a sub contractor! get it? its a bit confusing i know
and just to say. No B&M rides in their own country. I think not even a Intamin one here. The closest to borders s Silver Star at Europa Park.
Again, great video. Thanks for your efforts
Thank you, thanks for watching! :)
It’s so cool to know B&M makes there track in my city technically because I live in Cincinnati and well the factory is a county that is apart of the Cincinnati Metropolitan area it is so cool
YAAAS HARRY

B&M is the best coaster builder because they can build divecoasters, wingcoaster and invertedcoasters

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy the series! There's many more to come, so stay tuned. :)
dope video. got me interested in looking up the manufacturers of all my favorite rides at six flags great america and nearly every single one was b&m. mad respect to this company
Awesome to hear! Thanks for watching :)
“Intamin has created a number of unsuccessful rides” *shows I305*
Did Andrew edit this video?
Ikr 😂, I305 was definitely not unsuccessful, not the best giga, but undoubtedly successful
Are you sure? i305 had always had low ridership, even on busy days. A successful ride would not alienate itself from the general public that music. Ultimately it was a bad investment for the park.
Also Andrew can't edit lol
I305 is an amazing ride (my favorite giga) but he is right it has low ridership
COASTER BOT that's true. I went on a day when dominator had a 45 min line, volcano had a 1 hr+ line, avalanche had a 30 min line, flight of fear had a 40 min line, and backlot had a 30 min line, i305 had a...wait for it....walk-on. It was a walk-on. It was CRAZY.

Dueling Dragons has not been Dueling for a long time before it went though. They stopped synchronized launches when Harry Potter Land showed up.
