Been there before! Crank snapped on my first “proper, big bike” and shredded my inner calf. Got to see the inside of my leg and ended up with an awesome scar at least haha.
Man I've been waiting to see that feature on one of ya'lls channels for a while now. (Been watching the build on Trail Assassin's page on IG.) Looks sooooo good.
pho3nixmatt it’s so sick! It had been a really long day with more riding to come...so I definitely wasn’t feeling it. Plus I was afraid of the run in haha! Hope you get to ride it.
@@PaulThePunter that one wood feature into the rock roll into the big wood wall ride looks insanely cool! I think you could have done it after slaying all the rest of those rad features!
Honestly go pro can't capture the true depth of what it's filming and punter has an amazing way of letting you know how steep those trails really are he's 💯 legit it's what I love about watching his rides and at the same time feel bad for Mr loam having a crank snap sucks and missing out on the rest of the riding truly sorry that happened to you loam ranger
They were 2 years old and I couldn't get a straight answer from Raceface about a warranty, I had to go through my local raceface dealer (don't have one locally) and it seemed like it was up to Raceface's discretion. I could probably have spent more time on it but I just threw on some E13 aluminum cranks and went about my business.
Haha I even said I’d get this comment on the video! This is what happens: On a shuttle up the hill in the rain, water will collect on your rotors. When you immediately drop in, all that water stops the brake working and creates that noise. As you’ll notice almost straight away it stops making any noise. Hope that helps! 🙂
Make sure you don’t go #fullpunter and watch the next video on The Loam Ranger’s channel 🤙
Always great watching you guys do a collaboration. Great looking trails!
Shanning Porter thanks Shanning!
I love it so much when you celebrate conquering a feature or section of trail. That trail looked so steep. Great stuff, can't wait for the next one!
That’s what I’m all about BV!!!! I’ve got a real good one in the works with BCPOV 🤙

Oooooosh that sounds gnarly! Ryan definitely got away with this one.
When I seen it happen to him I cringed so hard, when I finally opened my eyes I was definitely glad to see he got away unscathed
Yeah he got lucky! Yours sounds terrible.
Brutal! Yup definitely lucked out.
Went there this summer also, love that place!! Can't wait to go back, Boulder Mountain was awesome!
The absolute bessssssst!!! I want to go and spend like 4 days there riding.

Revy is a great little town! On our list to go ride for sure. Did you go to the Village Idiot for a beer and food?
Sure did Derek, every day! It was so good.
Well, looks like I need to go to Revy next year.
You sure do Evan!
It's only 3 hours from my front door, no real excuses, it could be a day trip.
#FULLPUNTER ENGAGED . Oh man I wish I got to hit those lower trails!
The Loam Ranger they were sooo rad!
wow dude thats was a really sick trail. love the forest trails the most. pity about Ryan's crank, thanks for the adventure
No probs, he got back to it as you can see in his video from today :)
These trails look like a tonne of fun! Great collab!
They were insane! Such good times.

Great video Paul! Good times. Love the editing at 9:50. DOWWWWN! PS - How did you know that was Kyle Norbraten? I had no idea!!
Cheers Matt!!! Thanks again. I knew because I am a straight up nerd 🤓
Great ride! I hope you guys managed to get out to Frisby Ridge.
Ahhh we didn’t! Just Martha creek and boulder. Weather really came in, but when it was good....it was awesome
@@PaulThePunter ahh Martha Creek is sick too! Looking forward to that one!
Good Trails it’s already on Liam rangers channel
Nice trails - a little steeper than here in Wiltshire UK ! :D
TimFromWales yup just a bit 😂
The ol’ crank buster trail! Thanks for sharing!
Boise Diesel no worries, stoked you enjoyed it 🙏
Boise Diesel haha and on the smallest feature!

Haha yup, bit of a surprise!
Dude that hub is loud haha
It's the best!
4th 👍🏴 looks awesome, shame about the crank snapping, nice riding 😘
Thanks Robert!
did you get shuttle ride up there? this is a long climb
that dirt
So so good!
Are you left foot forward!?
Sure am!
What hub is on this bike? Sounds beautiful
That would be an e*thirteen trs - I love them. Never had a problem, rarely need servicing. Huge fan.
Let me guess, RaceFace NEXT SL cranks? :D
Nate Wildenstein nope they were blackspire carbon
Ohh interesting, it was a sad day when I had to throw my 400 dollar carbon cranks in the garbage. Bummer for Ryan, hope he's up and running again!

After the first run your brakes started sounding like shit
