But for some reason, I was always afraid to share some of them with people, bcuz I thought they would finally figure out that I was a total weirdo-or completely insane!?! "Late comer" to the Tremonti club, but catching up fast. I knew about Creed and was semi into them when they came out, but never delved into the band members or specifically Mark. Got into Alter Bridge a little too, thanks to Madden 2005. He REALLY is THAT good! Side question... does this man NOT age? Seriously, he has barely aged since 1994. Look at the rest of Creed/Alter Bridge, look at Myles Kennedy... no offense to the others, but they all look much older now and Mark looks almost unchanged. Also, have to respect the dedication to the low maintenance but slick looking hair cut. It's like when he's not playing, he goes into a preservation chamber. GREAT guitarist and artist all around... Check out Tremonti for those who might not know. The dude rips it up on vocals too. Amazing... simply amazing.
I keep wanting to do micro songs, like Mark said, put out feelers and see if there's any interest. I'm also lazy, so it allows me to be creatively flexible, with the least amount of effort.
This guy shredded in Bullets, perfected his riffs, evolved in Words Darker Than Their Wings, Did 5 solo metal albums with some of the best musicians in modern rock, then straight murdered expectations while releasing a Frank Sinatra cover record and now a Christmas Album. If that's not a flawless music career, I don't know what is. Let's not even talk about awards he's won and venues he's played, including the Super Bowl. Insane! Monster Mark is the Man!

He’s been much better with AlterBridge than his Creed days! Much more interesting and complex song composition ; not to mention he has freedom to go wild on his guitar solos in AB!! Creed he was obviously stunted by his vocalist.
