Marcelito Pomoy has no vocal training. He is blessed and gifted with such unique talent. He is an amazing singer and he sings effortlessly.
Love your genuine reaction. Two in one package. He has a most silky baritone voice. His female voice was better than some female's singers voice. What is more amazing is the fact that he never ever had a real training in singing, he's self-taught. Yeah, how is that possible? Well, it's called a God-given talent ability. He's gained a fairly large following and has an album out titled 'Duet Yourself'. He didn't have any formal training to do this. Also, neither English nor Italian are his native language. He's from the Philipines.

Journey's singer is also from the Philippines. Arnel. Back in 78' I was lucky to have a port of call there & saw a band play the entire Boston album that had just come out. Every song in the order on the record. They sounded exactly like Boston. All the bands there not only covered songs but, imitated the bands they did. Celine's voice is the shocker here.

Actually, singing in dual voices is an old gimmick in the Philippines. Some decades back, there was a segment in a noontime show called "Doble Kara", (means two face) that features a duet from a single singer. The contestant had to dress himself or herself half as a man, and the other half as a woman. Marcelito refined the voice quality to another level.
