Hadeel Oueis is a Foreign affairs Analyst | Editor-in-chief @Jusoor_News She focuses on US foreign policies for the Middle East. At the age of 18, she was arrested by the Assad regime for playing a key role in the early days of Syrian protests. In 2012, the United States delegation in Geneva met with Oueis and helped her relocate to the United States. She currently analyzes U.S. policies in the Middle East for major Arabic networks.

strong woman journalist on these issues. Syria is a tragedy. My Syrian friends have gone through so much to come to the west. But it's a deep pain still to know you cannot go home.

Muslim Brotherhood/Qutb needs to be explained to the US audience, preferably in direct presentations to local groups. Tough logistics, but worth the effort.

Lovely lady! However, you can’t expect US to assist anyone! US has not stomach for Middle Eastern/African wars since it failed miserably! The world needs to stop their dependence on US especially during the elections not to mention its isolation !!
The US did not fail inside Afghanistan it actually pushed them back into the mountains for 20 years but the Afghanistan people didn't have the stomach to to stop them when they came in and they gave up their weapons
