Based on the last album, I wasn't expecting this at all, but I can't get this song out of my head. It's just so good. It feels so urgent and seems to march along so effortlessly. I'm pretty excited to hear it live, and to hear the rest of the album.

+Thomas Nev Not sure if this is what you mean exactly, but I'm pretty sure the time signature is just 4/4, but also some bars in the verses and the outro are shorter, in 3/4. Listen carefully to the percussion for the timing of the beats, because for me the guitar makes the transition harder to follow from the shorter bars to normal ones. +ibcamwhobu As best as I can figure it (as a frustrated drummer trying to figure out how I'd play this), I've pegged the verses as being in 10 / 4 and the chorus as 4 / 4, albeit with a 5 / 4 lead in / 'bridge' in its first bar (or it's a 9/4 lead into 4/4). The clue lies (I think) in the kick drum adagio, which follows that pattern. As for the outtro (which I love) . . . dunno! I was thinking of dropping PD / (or Clint) a line for help! In any event . . . brilliant stuff.
