The original Superman is handsome. The fixed one is handsomer, more lifelike and more approachable. The fixed one suits the character of Superman more.
Oh you've done a wonderful job on the face Ken! You've really breathed some life into him. I do love watching your videos. They're always so impressive.
This McFarlane Superman was the first custom I ever did. Except I made the lines silver and bought a long-haired and bearded Cavil head to make him look more like in the comics. I also removed his cape. So while I made it more like a what-if Cavil wore a more comic-looking suit instead of making it accurate to the film, I am in love with it and even found a display base full of crystals to pose him on. Keep up the good work Ken! You inspire us!
Ken I would love to see you make a custom Marvel legends Moon Knight! That figure has so many sculpted details but the paint is minimal. I think seeing you add details to it will really make it pop!
He looks like Archer after the face up! 😆 I know you did what you could and it does look better, but it still looks like he just applied foundation really badly.
The effect of fixing is subtle. Your effort is much appreciated though.
Both the face and hair look much better and natural after fixing. I like this new look of superman. Well done.

5:55 you nailed it. They were probably looking for a face that is matching in the middle of Henry and the Comic version.
The fixed head is less plastic now.
For me, you really bring out the Henry Cavil look out of that face sculpture. Its there, but just lacking in paint job. Great work!

That face is miles better now!
Faces are a real challenge for painters. You improved it with your modifications. There is room for more improvement.
