I really hope they eventually come to the realization that you don't have to agree with someone all the time to love them. We make up way too many rules in life to justify the things we like and we expect everyone else to follow these rules so that we feel satisfied with our own decisions. How messed up is it that we are always in constant need of others to be like us in order to feel OK with yourself? Just be yourself and be OK with other people being their selves.

I also relate to a lot of the things she mentioned, however I'm straight lol. I've always been interested in boys romantically and sexually, so I never doubted my sexuality, I've just never been a girly-girl when I was a child. When I was a teen, I had a girl crush once, but around that time I also started to develop interest in more typically 'girly' things. The human psyche is complex and interesting, like your story also shows!

It's crazy but your "coming out again" video has sent me on a crazy journey, too. I always identified as bisexual but was still struggling a lot with that label and didn't know why. I have now slowly come to the conclusion that I'm probably just a lesbian.
I see myself so much in the thing with the wedding. When I imagine marrying a woman I get so exited, imagining it with a man seems so boring and ugh to me.
It's crazy because I actually always thought that I was probably actually just straight and lying to myself about being bisexual to impress guys or something and now it seems like it's the complete opposite that :D

I love her dad, but I am triggered by her mom. That is literally an older version of me!! The baked treats in tupperware on the kitchen counter, the genuine joy and giddiness at seeing her daughter, the goofiness, and the tendency to hurt herself doing simple tasks lol it's uncanny! I now aspire to be her when I grow up, so I never lose my favorite traits. Thank you for this treasure of a video, Alayna. You and your family are awesome!

I just want you to know that I come to your page any time I feel a resurgence of internalized homophobia or sadness about how my mom feels about my being gay or even fear at how some of the world feels about it. I can always find a video on your page that brings hope and makes me not feel so alone in it. That's an amazing gift, so thank you. This is all so important.

Many of those were more just your personality than signs of being gay (ex. Not wanting to play with boys as a child. I, and many other people, had no problems playing with and hanging out with the opposite sex, yet we're still quite gay lol).
Personally, what stood out to me as signs was being obsessed with the gorgeous female characters in movies, and the fact that you can't picture a wedding with a man but you can with a woman.
Anyway, all in all I found this video to be wonderful and filled with love ❤️ You're a beautiful family.

Stumbled upon your channel last week. Not sure why I keep watching since I'm a 60 year-old lesbian and clearly not you target audience...but every video with either of your parents included have me laughing sooo hard. These people are funny, warm, charming and hysterically funny to me ( some of it's the Canadian accent). Anyway, I'm thoroughly enjoying your channel and weirdly invested in your journey. Good work.

I'm a 64 yr old gay man and I love following Alayna. Of course I can wish I had someone to help when I was younger but I wouldn't trade my journey for anything. My Mom was accepting but my Dad never knew but then again my coming out occurred after moving out. Alayna"s family are delightful and I love these videos.

Idk if you've heard about all the stuff happening in Texas right now, but my family's power went out on Monday and we had to spend most of the week at a friend's house. We finally got to come home today and this video helped make life feel normal again. (We're incredibly fortunate to have had somewhere to go and to come home to electricity, clean water, and no burst pipes. So many in our area still don't have functioning utilities.)
