Good one, but please refer Moola Bharatha. Arjuna didn’t killed Weaponless Karna, though he was standing on land Karna continued his fighting with Arjuna. Upon Krishna’s advice Arjuna used Anjalika aastra on Karna. Second thing Arjuna and Krishna are Nara Narayana and Karna was Sahasrakavacha a king with demonic qualities in his previous birth, so he is not a normal person to take on Arjuna.

In higher perspective, according to vyasa POV, it doesn't matter who is powerful at all. He describes everyone with their own powers.
What matters is "if you are in side of adharma, no matter how powerful you are, it will be subsided". This is Mahabharat scheme of things.
This is why Barbarika was asked to sacrifice. This is why Bhishma was stopped by shikandi, this is why Drona had to die by rumour. This is why Karna had lose by abandoning ratham. Whoever has Brahamastra, he is by default powerful.
So who is powerful never matters.
Karna is a Surya putra, Arjun is Indra putra.
When Sun is powerful when rain is absent. Rain is powerful when Sun is absent.
When Sun and rain are together, it creates rainbow.
Symbolically if Arjun and karna are together as brothers. That kingdom will be as beautiful as Rainbow.
Arjun who is undisputed Archer had to lose against son Babruwahana. He was out of touch when dwaraka civil riots happened and he couldn't save Krishna wives. So everyone had their own time.

This guy makes up his own stories and calls them myths. Check your facts right before making assumptions. The true story comes from Vyasa’s Mahabharat but not the versions of it.

Super podcast ever. I loved the way Aditya said at the end- who are we decide! We are neither Karnas or Arjunas - even the 1/100th of any of them. Keeping that aside, the entire purpose of our stories, puranas and why they are told, is not for us to decide who is right and who is wrong. It is for us choose our way of life. Thats why, the concept of God and good and bad is not objective in hinduism. It works like a sign board on the road. It is for you to decide whether you want to take that road. What is good for you. Thats your karma after all. Its good to learn about out historical and mythological heroes but don't get into decision making. And after all, we all know the story. We can take the good and leave the rest.

I can understand Dharma winning against adharma and Pandavs are on the Dharma side. Most of things mentioned in this podcast about Karna were quite opposite or shown differently in some TV shows and Movies.
Lets talk about character arcs of Mahabharata for every character it makes more sense tooo
If Karna was set up to lose the fight against Arjuna and ultimately die in the battle (with the 3 curses taking effect during the war), is destiny pre-determined? Or were the curses mere traps that were set up, hoping Karna would make wrong choices and ultimately lead everyone to the war. Could he have altered his destiny and by that all of the Kauravas ?
Also, if yugas are cyclic could there be a yuga where Karna makes the right choices and there is no war? If the same story repeats again and again, what is the point ? Is there a point?

Telugu film industry made a grave mistake by glorifying Karna, who encouraged Duryodhana in the royal court after Yudhisthira's defeat in gambling and took pleasure in Draupadi’s humiliation. Draupadi and Kunti helped Karna's wife, Vrushali, when Dhritarashtra ordered her jail. Similarly, Ashwatthama, who supported Draupadi’s disrobing, is also undeserving of praise. Despite their war skills, their actions were condemnable. Just as one wouldn’t glorify a terrorist, it’s wrong to glorify them. Shame on Telugu film industry for celebrating these individuals.

All characters of Mahabharata are to be understood and interpreted in the right way, as all are flawed. None of the characters are to be followed to be praised, rather make a realatabilty about why that character must have done something.

Prasurama never says he will train sudra only that at that time kshatriya and brahmin were given knowledge of celestial weapons, he trained karna in thought he was a brahmin. Better get your facts checked

35:40 - Dona is a teacher for only Kuru Princes. He rejects Ekalavya and Karna as his students. If you are right and let's say Drona being a great Guru senses the negativity in Karna and rejects teaching him for that, then why the hell Lord Parashuram, who is a far better teacher and himself being a Guru to Drona accepts Karna as a student and teaches him everthing? The fact is Karna has everything in him.. he just feels suffocated throughout his life blessed with the skill and power but with no way to display it or never got an opportunity to display it. When the world is praising someone for his skill and you being an equal if not more in talent to the same person, do not recognise you just because you are not a royalty, then that scars the child's heart for the rest of his life and trips him into a resentful feeling towards the other person the world is hailing for and he strives for proving himself better. Karna got destroyed because of this feeling.. which in my opinion, is result of what Kunti did. Then there is a question of why neither Krishna nor Bhishma disclosed Karna's identity to the world or why they did not confront Kunti openly since the day they knew about Karna. Why Karna didnot accept Kunti's or Krishna's proposal to turn towards Pandava's side and to be the King, him being the eldest of all. Duryodhana would surely agree to it and war could be avoided. But he knew it was against Dharma and Krishna is on right side. So by being on the wrong side, he aided Dharma to winover Adharma and he didnot cared for his own life.
Even the recentfulness towards Pandavas was also taken away from him by Kunti and Krishna.

I was like u many years back.. believed that karna was strongest and greatest .. watching childhood movies like daana Veera karna , other movies and some serial version.. I came out of that trap long back.. I can't convince u or ask u to stop following karna.. I know u won't do it.. I can give u one advice that if u really interested in knowing Mahabharata.. read vyas or bori ce version.. or atleast .. there are some pandits who translate them with proofs in UA-cam .. u don't need to read everything .. u can find out what u want to know ..

I have cross checked with multiple genuine Mahabharata sources which are still not that much diluted . I saw some great pandit videos who put those chapters and explain them clearly. I have paused it and even saw some quoras.. used Google help to translate them and cross checked if it's really facts .. I have already downloader pdf version of Mahabharata recently I plan to read .. but it's very lengthy chapters with lots of pages .. need to allocate some time to do that.. I even found some comic version of Mahabharata which has genuine sources too where u dont need to read like novel.. but I try to avoid that because I can't trust ppl who might give some fake info too.. it's also costly .. I don't want to spend money on fake comics also.. i don't know what's in there real or fake .. I am still trying to verify that through some research.. then I can buy it..
