I enjoy viewing the camera angles. It seems very cold out there. I was recently playing outdoor tennis and afterwards, my hands were so cold I could barely move them! And it was 38 degrees out there. 15 degrees is crazy cold. Keep on skating. Nice video.

      Thanks.
It was much closer to 25 by the time I started skating.
I was never cold, so it was all good.
      The sun certainly helped.
I give you credit for playing tennis in the cold, because I played at your age, and I never played in that! 👍

I've recently started online skating and I'm amazed at how rolling over the the smallest stone or twig is like skating into a brick lol

      I know that feeling!
Once I learned to keep the weight towards the back of the skates, that happens very rarely now.
Even then, I'm always well prepared for anything like that.

@@Skating-Southern-New-England ah ok I thought keeping the weight at the back of the skates was wrong cus I would fall backwards but I see how that would help. Thanks!

@@chrisplayz253 I skate rockered, and in my case, it takes very little to bring me down if I'm skating forward, with my weight towards the front of the skates.
It comes naturally now, for my weight to be exactly where it needs to be in my skates, at all times, and it varies a lot depending on what I'm doing.
For example: If I'm coasting at high speed (or even low speed), downhill or not, no matter what, my toes are lifted, at all times in the boots. Picture that (or feel "shin splints"), and that is the key for me to skate safely in my rockered setup.
I also skate with the legs "scissored", or if not, my weight is always on one skate or the other (even if both skates are touching the ground) at all times.

@@Skating-Southern-New-England AHH thanks so much so as a noob myself with flat recreational skates where should I feel my feet in my skates? In the middle ? 🤔🤗

@@chrisplayz253 I think the most impotant thing is to keep the knees bent, along with some pivot in the hip.
Proper posture is very important, and if done correctly, your weight will be properly distributed naturally in that setup.
Shoulders over knees, knees over toes.
Keep that center of gravity as close to that belly button as possible, and you'll have no problem with those stones, acorns, etc.
