That window...NOICE 🤗 The floor tiles are VERY reminiscent of the glazed tiles you see in London and almost ALL Victorian houses when I was growing up. That and small blk and wht diamond checkered designs. So it's DEFINITELY authentic UK 'farmhouse'-esk (you guys across the Pond might say homestead). It's a homely and warm clay. Glazed it brings out the red. You'll need a witches broom by the door too. Might I suggest that you don't neglect the occasional 'cracked' tile? Break up the monotonous pattern by including a cracked tile here and there. Cheers 🇬🇧
@Odd Lots Give yourself more credit fella. I think if you asked you find many of us are from far shores. Your design literally looks remarkable in that it's close to how I perceived my hobbit hole. Mine would be a cold storage first and foremost. With delusions of hobbit wishes. I'm building mine to be a tad larger by adding a hole in the wall at the back for a concrete pipe of about ten ft. to another "protrusion" into the ground in the future. Just dreams currently. You are actually doing it. Well done. Please don't forget the seat outside and the wonky fence and gate with the "do not disturb" sign, and the bent nails. 😉 Cheers 🇬🇧
This looks awesome! Do you have a link to where you bought it from? I'm looking at building a Hobbit themed treehouse for my kids (ok it's really for me) this summer!
Would you happen to have url or a phone number that I could purchase those windows from? I plan on building a hobbit hole myself in the future in those would be perfect!
And no I'm not sick of watching this. Keep it up. It's inspiring.
Amazing window???😱 Congatulations!!👏👏

Thanks!

And...when you do narrow down the clock use the back as a cheese storage cubby-hole.
Thanks for the encouragement on the tile! I think you are right about having some cracks in it, as well! I'm glad someone from the U.K. is watching:-)
