We just did a R&R on a H used a block of elm to support the tractor. had the engine on a boom truck however a shop engine hoist could be used just as easy. We posted U tube videos.
Build it so that it can be used universally on other Tractors also. In other words have the upright stands adjustable to different Engine and Frame Rail widths.

Don’t know the doc but have heard of him , lots of winter projects in the shop when this video was taken , I think 5 tractors all in various stages of repair / maintenance

Found it on facebook marketplace, needed a paint job but the banding was in good shape
