Notice Johnnys facial expression when he got up off his seat, he knew dennis was no joke
I think he was just taken aback how rude Dennis was being lol
Johnny definitely looked intimidated to be fair, I don't think he was used to being around people who weren't scared of him and Dennis definitely wasn't scared.

Dennis wasn't even a tiny bit scared or intimidated by Johnny, they don't make characters like Dennis anymore.
On Eastenders yes but other soaps do

Look at Dennis attitude towards Johnny, then look at how Vincent acted when confronted by Aidan. Dennis was a different class
Neither of them were arsed about Phil who almost everyone is intimidated by but when it came to dealing with gangsters, Dennis was definitely in a different class. Vincent was a badass in 2015-16 but then the writers humiliated his character for no reason.

Vincent was a better fighter than Dennis but I do agree that Dennis showed more heart against johnny than Vincent did with aidan

Dennis Rickman was my all time favourite Eastenders character just in a different league. Don’t watch soaps anymore they are all extremely woke. I was rooting for Nigel Harman on Strictly as well.
Dennis wasn't scared of Johnny compared to Andy Hunter, and Johnny took him seriously when he got up.
I'm betting Dennis knew Johnny's reputation from the time he worked for Dalton. He'd likely been a rival back then.

He wasn’t mad, just fearless. He was probably one of the nicest guys in town as long as you didn’t get on his bad side.
