Was Nigel Harman's decision. Once they said they would kill him off, he had the choice to object and change his mind about leaving. He didn't. Once he left, he said he hated EastEnders as it was full of shit actors. Only ones he got on with was his screen family.
I hate that they killed Dennis off,but you've got to admit, Johnny warned him loads of times to back off and keep his nose out,I don't know why he took such an interest in ruby anyway.
Hang on a second -- Dennis DEFENDS Ruby from her abusive father, and you think that justifies Johnny having him KILLED? He even finds out that Dennis is due to be a father and yet he still doesn't care and has him killed. The guy is a psychopath. Stop defending him.
Phil especially caused Dennis' death. Sharon told him to keep Dennis out of it because Johnny threatened him and Phil went behind her back and goaded Dennis into attacking Johnny. Even Peggy told Dennis and Phil Johnny was very dangerous. Thought Phil wanted Sharon to be happy yet he did that, like he wanted revenge on Dennis for him and Den setting him up with the armed robbery years before. Dennis was also at fault. Understood him defending Ruby from her bullying father but Johnny was clearly dangerous. Dennis was meant to be smart. Johnny was evil and didn't care Dennis was going to be a dad. Dennis attacked him then left him near to a phone. Johnny was twisted but loved Ruby. Pat was terrified for Dennis. She went to warm him and Sharon about Johnny being dangerous. Ian was terrified of him. He was worse than Phil
@@AS-wj1du Phil was always a coward when it came to Dennis. In 2003 after Dalton's death, Dennis wanted a fist-fight with Phil but he set him up and got a bunch of scumbags to beat him up in the Arches. The whole thing with Johnny was even worse because Phil could see that Sharon wanted to leave the country for Dennis' safety and he selfishly didn't want to lose Sharon as a friend so he made sure Dennis would confront Johnny that night, regardless of the consequences. Between Phil and Grant, Phil was the coward. Grant was more ballsy and did the job himself.
It was a dumb storyline where the had Dennis kick Johnny out of his house party in the episode before this one because Johnny was acting abusive over Ruby as usual.
He always had a hunch that Johnny was involved in Andy Hunter's death and Andy was Dennis's best mate. Johnny also wanted people to be in awe of him because of his past reputation but Dennis never was, whether it was Phil, Den, Grant, Dalton, he just wasn't fazed.
Lol. Johnny Allen showing what a big tough guy he is... by sending a knife wielding idiot to deal with Dennis rather than face him himself. Genuinely awful character, when Johnny first came in he was really made out to be something as well but then they ruined him with nonsense like this.
Dennis' problem is that he underestimated Johnny. He shoulda known that Johnny isn't someone you wanna rub up the wrong way. Maybe, this is where he needed Den.
Johnny Allen was a huge coward. When Dennis actually confronts him, Johnny gets his ass kicked. Then he phones his hit man (Jake's younger brother, so embarrassing) to have Dennis killed before he and Sharon can leave. Like I said, Johnny was a pathetic character. Getting mad at Dennis just because Ruby actually listened to him about Johnny not being worth it.
Wanted to punch Dennis. Sharon warned him stop annoying Johnny. He didn't take it seriously, thought annoying Johnny was more important than his new baby and wife. Even Pat knew immediately Dennis should back off. Dennis only laughed. He did that to his wife and son
This guy was bought in to replace Andy as the top gun in the square between this time up until Peggy, Phil and Grant arrived this character was fine. Then they turned him into the antagonist of Walford just to hype up the Mitchells return to the square
Ian Beale is such a coward he really is made me laugh the way he creeps round Johnny when he sees him . Johnny Allen was one of the best villions in this he really was ! I got sick of the Mitchell's always winning they needed someone to stand up to them .
You deleted the most important scene in the episode - Johnny STRANGLING Sharon. Then she yells at him to get off because she's pregnant. Is he sorry? No. He tells her to get out of town. The guy is pathetic. A worthless woman abuser who has others do his dirty work.
so unfair that they killed dennis off not long after this :( him and sharon were finally happy, they deserved happiness :(
Angeline Mckew x I know it was really sad
J Crash How do you know this mate? I think they’ll bring him back soon too. Like father like son.
They were half brother and sister .yuck
Its not unfair he wanted to leave .I don't know why people complain about the actors leaving .when it's there choice

Dennis could've killed Johnny if he wanted to.
Danny is dead too but he did have a child .
Hang on a second -- Dennis DEFENDS Ruby from her abusive father, and you think that justifies Johnny having him KILLED? He even finds out that Dennis is due to be a father and yet he still doesn't care and has him killed. The guy is a psychopath. Stop defending him.

Great Funny Character Johnny Allen I wish I was Billy Murray as Johnny Allen
I forgot why Johnny Allen wanted Shannis out of the Square? I thought Johnny's beef was with the Mitchells?
It was a dumb storyline where the had Dennis kick Johnny out of his house party in the episode before this one because Johnny was acting abusive over Ruby as usual.
This beef started because of a bunch of step ladders 🤣🤣🤣
Why did Dennis hate Johnny so much?
He always had a hunch that Johnny was involved in Andy Hunter's death and Andy was Dennis's best mate. Johnny also wanted people to be in awe of him because of his past reputation but Dennis never was, whether it was Phil, Den, Grant, Dalton, he just wasn't fazed.
Dennis was cool but Johnny Allen was one of the best villions but he knew deep down Dennis was a match for him .
Lol. Johnny Allen showing what a big tough guy he is... by sending a knife wielding idiot to deal with Dennis rather than face him himself. Genuinely awful character, when Johnny first came in he was really made out to be something as well but then they ruined him with nonsense like this.

Dennis rickmam was a good person
There was a lot people pissing off Johnny Allen considering he had a body count it wasn`t wise
Take Dennis and run Sharon
This guy was bought in to replace Andy as the top gun in the square between this time up until Peggy, Phil and Grant arrived this character was fine. Then they turned him into the antagonist of Walford just to hype up the Mitchells return to the square
Honestly I thought Johnny Allen was a crap character. Billy Murray had a much better storyline in The Bill
😂 Ian’s opinion
I fully agree with Johnny, I wouldn’t want anyone sticking their nose in my business. Well played Mr Allen 👏
Captain price
Ian Beale is such a coward he really is made me laugh the way he creeps round Johnny when he sees him . Johnny Allen was one of the best villions in this he really was ! I got sick of the Mitchell's always winning they needed someone to stand up to them .
You've forgotten who your talkin to like everyone else around ere I think it's time I gave em a reminder
Johnny certainly had a massive ego.
You deleted the most important scene in the episode - Johnny STRANGLING Sharon.
Then she yells at him to get off because she's pregnant. Is he sorry? No. He tells her to get out of town.
The guy is pathetic. A worthless woman abuser who has others do his dirty work.
The thing is, Dennis interfered too much with Johnny & Ruby & he should have kept shut. He was too big for his boots.
Uh, you don't deserve to die for defending a young girl from her psychotic father.
Johnny certainly got too big for his boots as well.
