Pool Skating With Jon Bishop at Concrete Waves in Newquay

I've just got back from a weekend away in Cornwall and while I was there I hit up my mate Jon Bishop for a pool skating session at his local Concrete Waves Skatepark in Newquay.
It was great to skate with Jon again and long overdue, we didn't have much time but we did have an awful lot of fun grinding that lush pool coping.

Oh man!!! I am so psyched I found this!!! I am 39, quit skating at 19 when I went to university. Replaced it with rock climbing for the last 20 years.
I now have a son and want to I introduce him to the sport.
I mainly skated ramps obsessively. Thank you for putting up this content. I feel like there is hope

I think the pressure always gets to us when we are on borrowed time and we can’t truly relax into a session. Look forward to seeing the next Cornwall trip

Very cool collaboration/session.
Traveling to parks always has the learning curve. You did great. Good standup grinds on the pool coping. You crushed it.

Yeah they’ve definitely served their time. I see them at every opportunity (I’ve lost count how many times) as they are one of my favourite bands.
