  • Traveling in Sweden is very special to us. We went to Jämtlands Län this time and it felt like nature is exploding at this place. We felt like this is home. And one day it may be.
    For those who are interested in more details about where we were:
    The waterfalls are at Fulufjället Natsjonalpark, Fattjeafallet in Klovsjo and the waterfalls at Forsaleden. We went from Berlin to Malmö - Tanumshede - Idre - Bjärme (near Östersund) and back south through Torsåker, Söderköping and back to Malmö and Berlin. In total we traveled about 3.800km and spend 3 weeks in Sweden. This was a true holiday, for body, mind and soul.
    Hope we will back soon.

    What a beautiful area and country! When you described your feelings, it reminds me of mine. My longing of portions of the rural Northwestern US and Southwestern Canada. Visited several times but I am yet not able to move there. I hope you make it there to stay one day!

      Oh thank you so much! ❤ I always think it's so interesting that we have these longings inside of us. A friend of mine needs the ocean and warm winters and summers. I need the opposite. I wonder how our body knows so strcitly what it wants 😄 wishing you all the best and that your dream will come true one day too! ❤

    Beautiful footage of Sweden.. there's nothing like breathing the air of rural Sweden and it's endless forests after spending too much time in urban/city environments.

      I agree 100%! 💞 The air vibrates differently in deep nature. It resonates better with the soul than the traffic in Berlin 😉

      @@lagomtrolldom Absolutely true about the air. I used to live in Jämtland (Brunflo and Östersund) and the nature is exquisite, hope you had a great and peaceful time there which the footage indicated. My favorite is Västerbottens län though, but i grew up there so i am biased. You should definately visit the fjäll ranges in Västerbotten such as Vilhelminafjällen and others on your next trip. But maybe you've explored those areas already, hard to explore every worthwhile nature area in any län in the mid to north counties though .. too many hidden gems.
      //Kind Regards from this norrlänning.

      Oh how nice! Our stay was mainly in Brunflo! We loved the area. We really need to visit the eastern parts of sweden aswell. But I also have to say that I love the mountains in the west. So I think the west of Västerbottens Län and Jämtland are on the top of our bucket list. Thank you so much for the hint! We hope to get back there in September and then we'll hopefully see a lot of thise hidden gems. ❤️

    My grandmother came to US when she was 16 and this year is the 100th anniversary of her wedding…she was from Slattemola 7k north of Tingsryd..working for an airline I enjoyed many trips to Sverige, meeting all the relatives who stayed…being from Wisconsin, I could see many similarities so grandma must have felt quite comfortable..I can agree with your view of Sweden being very peaceful and quiet..the bad part is mostly Malmo where immigrants have created many problems, sorry for them…tak so mycket 🙏🏻🕊🇸🇪

Nature differs a lot between these parts of our earth. 😊 And yes, I think it's part of my art to show a lot of appreciation and love to things that resonate with my interests. ❤️

      Oh wow I am so sorry to hear that you didn't find what you might have expected. I heard that the swedes are a very distanced and I can imagine that some areas are not so nice. @@lagomtrolldom it is so disappointing. i had thought of swedes as being open, welcoming, reasonable. they are not. the immigrants and asylum seekers from 2015 have had a significant negative effect but it is even more complicated - some sort of regressive wishfulness for an old sweden but without recognising how out of sync with that this toxicity is. very weird and disappointing. it's not all scenery! 🇸🇪👎

      @@gg_ingy i am not muslim. i am not identifiably foreign at all, but i don't speak swedish. i had hoped to learn but i have not learnt swedish because of covid and i don't work so have been extremely isolated. i have also become so deeply disillusioned by the swedish people not to even want to anymore.
      swedes are a delusion of exceptionalism and tolerance in the world at large, a mirage of admirable. they are instead deeply insecure; fraught by any prospect of criticism, they project themselves as something they are not.
      they are narcissistic to a fault. the world needs to see swedes for what they truly are. we have had enough of this dysfunction and swedes need to grow up and recognise it in themselves. no more regressive infantilism please. humility would do you wonders.

    • @inhale.exhale.2527
      @inhale.exhale.2527 Рік тому

      @@gg_ingy my description of swedes is based upon experience - repeated again and again. the swedish opinion is based upon prejudice. uninformed, ignorant discrimination. the objectification of me because i am not swedish. this is insupportable in this day and age, and after swedish interference in the world where this has been identified in others. it is exceptionalist and hypocritical - the 11th commandment. thou shalt not be a hypocrit.

    • @blitz3408

      Maybe it's because of all the immigrants that have been forced upon us. The typical swede just want to be left alone. But we are also very interested in people from other countries as long as they show us respect.
