Without DNA confirmation from an outside source - not a family member - there will always be doubt if the remains are actually his. This whole case has been insane.
It's being said that the dentist who ID'd the lower jaw was Brian's uncle. So....hopefully an independent dentist can take a look. I wouldn't trust anything said by a relative.

If they had enough cause to install livestream cameras, then they definitely had enough probable cause to follow them, especially Brian, if they left the residence!!
For dental analysis you need a substantial amount of the skull and/or mandible. You can't do a dental record comparison without it unless there is some sort of extremely unique anatomy. One tooth or even a few teeth isn't enough in the overwhelming majority of cases. DNA is a different situation. Teeth are great for DNA in most cases.
You can find DNA in a tooth if it still has viable material in it. It is living inside unless he had a root canal in all of his teeth. I doubt. You can get DNA from the bone, especially if there is marrow but there is none in the skull.
@Mike Harris there can be contamination that destroys DNA, but they may be waiting on DNA if they needed to send it out for special testing. Testing the DNA and investigating what happened to him isn't a priority anymore because they have already identified him and confirmed that he is dead.
You have no idea what the surveillance video looked like or how far away the camera was to determine if it's him or not. I just watched a video where a a young woman got acid thrown in her face. It was at night and caught on a neighbor's camera. You could see it happen, but not really make out race,gender or really anything about the assailant, and is still at large months later.

Under what circumstances can a charge be laid against the Laundries for what I think is called "Obstruction of Justice". Or is there no such criminal charge in the USA? Because the parents must have known from the second Brian arrived in the driveway, with no Gabby in the van, that something was wrong. And I sincerely doubt that he could keep 100% silent on why she hadn't come back, where she was, what had happened, and under what circumstances had he turned his back and driven away. If they were as close to him as they now, judging by their level of grief, were, they would have got a fair amount of this information out of him. Either they would have picked at what he said because it was all so unexpected, or he would have told them outright. Even if its their son, to keep quiet, bearing in mind that Gabby was almost treated as a member of their family, and they must have felt a great deal of horror when they knew he had killed her. And even if they kept quiet to protect him then, he no longer needs protection from them, so why not open up now and tell the whole story. Its the least they owe not only the FBI, but in particular Gabby's family, who have been through a far greater horror, because Gabby was an innocent victim.

Brian took the mustang and when found a location he called Roberta and she tried to resembled her son and went pick up the car and the police thought it was Brian. They were using burner phone to talk with each other. Then the dad finds him. Give me a break. Roberta was the leader of the pack.
The biggest mistake LE made in regards to Brian was not bringing him in on auto theft charges in the first place. They could have had him in custody pending a hearing on that charge and had an in person interview with him on record. Instead they never even had eyes-on proof that he was even at the Laundrie house from the beginning!

The card yes, the van no. The card use was discovered after Brian went “missing”. Police tried to speak to Brian about Gabby but he refused to answer questions but the police were directed to speak to his lawyer.
It's also a very good chance that if NPPD had followed Brian in the Mustang that he would be alive today. Roberta was NOT wearing a baseball cap when she returned in the Mustang. NO WAY to mistake her for Brian.
At the very least, if the FBI had done more than responded to Bertolino’s apparent texts on the 13th that Brian had left and not returned with “thanks for the update”, he may have been found within those first few days.

Can’t blame BL family for not cooperating when BL should have been arrested on the unauthorized use of the credit card use charges immediately. He had a lawyer and didn’t have to talk but he would have to sit in a very small cell and this might have changed his mind about talking.
He was already gone by the time the credit card use was discovered. Gabby was reported missing on the 11th, Brian went missing on the 13th. The federal warrant was issued on the 22nd I believe. The credit card use was discovered during the search for Gabby. Timeline is a lot tighter than it looked at the beginning of all this.
When will we know more about Brians remains/DNA findings.....don't let this just fade away, that's what his parents want....we still want #JusticeforGabby!

Dental records can be helpful, but we have to remember that he was only 23 years old and had pretty decent teeth. There is room for error here. Not like a 50-year-old with lots of filling cavities and missing teeth.
His teeth did not look perfect to me. They use more than fillings to ID. The actual pattern is what they primarily use. No one has the exact same bite or pattern.

I want confirmation from an independent source on which set of keys was used to drive the car home. Also, keys aren't digestible. The reserve has been opened back up. This means they are convinced that they found all the remains left behind. So where's Brian's set of keys? Also, if Mommy Laundrie could walk there in 10 minutes, then so could Brian. Which is what he likely would have done if any of this was real. And how did Mommy Laundrie know where his car would be parked? *And where's the ticket from the reserve ranger?!* The whole thing doesn't add up. I'm convinced that Brian's not dead, he's hiding, and only an independent and disinterested, third party DNA analysis on the skull itself, confirming it was his skull they found, would convince me otherwise.

Teeth are the only “bone” that can be REMOVED easily. This would be an easy thing to plant considering you can live without your teeth. We need DNA! We need to know EXACTLY what was found. Tammy Friday once someone retains an attorney the police cannot question them. Even if they are mid-interrogation, the minute a person says I want an attorney the police must stop questioning immediately. Miranda rights must also be read to each person once they are detained (and NOT FREE to leave if they want to) advising them of their constitutional right to an attorney, that they are not required to speak, and that if they choose to speak anything they say may be used against them.

According to News Nation, the surveillance cameras they're referring to were "livestreamed". Obviously, no one was actually paying close enough attention to those livestreams.
If they had enough cause to install livestream cameras, then they definitely had enough probable cause to follow them, especially Brian, if they left the residence!!

For dental analysis you need a substantial amount of the skull and/or mandible. You can't do a dental record comparison without it unless there is some sort of extremely unique anatomy. One tooth or even a few teeth isn't enough in the overwhelming majority of cases. DNA is a different situation. Teeth are great for DNA in most cases.
You can find DNA in a tooth if it still has viable material in it. It is living inside unless he had a root canal in all of his teeth. I doubt. You can get DNA from the bone, especially if there is marrow but there is none in the skull.
@Mike Harris there can be contamination that destroys DNA, but they may be waiting on DNA if they needed to send it out for special testing. Testing the DNA and investigating what happened to him isn't a priority anymore because they have already identified him and confirmed that he is dead.

I just watched a video where a a young woman got acid thrown in her face. It was at night and caught on a neighbor's camera. You could see it happen, but not really make out race,gender or really anything about the assailant, and is still at large months later.

I wonder if and when this current issue is resolved and in the public's rear view mirror, that a "hunt for the bad guy" kind of show could be produced in much the same way your streams were done. You were a center for information to arrive to and the center for information to be reported. You had a constant parade of partners who are specialist in many fields. I understand that there are plenty of investigative shows throughout time. So what, yours were super special and easy to respect.

The parents went to the dentist and got Brian's dental records and also gave the FBI his toothbrush and other things to get DNA from.
Under what circumstances can a charge be laid against the Laundries for what I think is called "Obstruction of Justice". Or is there no such criminal charge in the USA? Because the parents must have known from the second Brian arrived in the driveway, with no Gabby in the van, that something was wrong. And I sincerely doubt that he could keep 100% silent on why she hadn't come back, where she was, what had happened, and under what circumstances had he turned his back and driven away. If they were as close to him as they now, judging by their level of grief, were, they would have got a fair amount of this information out of him. Either they would have picked at what he said because it was all so unexpected, or he would have told them outright. Even if its their son, to keep quiet, bearing in mind that Gabby was almost treated as a member of their family, and they must have felt a great deal of horror when they knew he had killed her. And even if they kept quiet to protect him then, he no longer needs protection from them, so why not open up now and tell the whole story. Its the least they owe not only the FBI, but in particular Gabby's family, who have been through a far greater horror, because Gabby was an innocent victim.

If the Medical Examiner doesn't do a DNA analysis, this case will never die. That would be a huge mistake.

The biggest mistake LE made in regards to Brian was not bringing him in on auto theft charges in the first place. They could have had him in custody pending a hearing on that charge and had an in person interview with him on record. Can’t blame BL family for not cooperating when BL should have been arrested on the unauthorized use of the credit card use charges immediately. He had a lawyer and didn’t have to talk but he would have to sit in a very small cell and this might have changed his mind about talking.
He was already gone by the time the credit card use was discovered. Gabby was reported missing on the 11th, Brian went missing on the 13th. The federal warrant was issued on the 22nd I believe. The credit card use was discovered during the search for Gabby. Timeline is a lot tighter than it looked at the beginning of all this.

Dental records can be helpful, but we have to remember that he was only 23 years old and had pretty decent teeth. There is room for error here. Not like a 50-year-old with lots of filling cavities and missing teeth.
His teeth did not look perfect to me. They use more than fillings to ID. The actual pattern is what they primarily use. No one has the exact same bite or pattern.
Read on why they can use dental records. It's much deeper than what you are listing. Unique like a finger print. Also the teeth contain pulp which contains DNA. It's complicated and has nothing to do with his age and tooth conditions. LOL Google is your friend 😉

@Mike Harris 100% agree. The whole case doesn't make sense. It seems such a mess. If they had just brought Brian in straight away on fraud and theft of the van, they would have had him from the offset.
I want confirmation from an independent source on which set of keys was used to drive the car home. Also, keys aren't digestible. The reserve has been opened back up. This means they are convinced that they found all the remains left behind. So where's Brian's set of keys? Also, if Mommy Laundrie could walk there in 10 minutes, then so could Brian. Which is what he likely would have done if any of this was real. And how did Mommy Laundrie know where his car would be parked? *And where's the ticket from the reserve ranger?!*
The whole thing doesn't add up. I'm convinced that Brian's not dead, he's hiding, and only an independent and disinterested, third party DNA analysis on the skull itself, confirming it was his skull they found, would convince me otherwise.

I hope you continue to do these once this case is finally closed. As a non-American, who loves law I find your insight extremely helpful to understand what is going on. I find Ashleigh Banfield and Brian Entin also very good when it comes to breaking down American legislation.
The lawyer, Bertolino could do to take notes from you all. Or, better still, he could take the advice he gave his clients and shut up. He’s clearly under qualified for this aspect of law, and this case is way beyond his capabilities.

Teeth are the only “bone” that can be REMOVED easily. This would be an easy thing to plant considering you can live without your teeth. We need DNA! We need to know EXACTLY what was found. More description not just “I think he thinks she thinks” Dental records aren’t enough.
Where is the rest of his skeleton? Hypothetically if it was scattered by animals there is NO WAY every other bone in his body was 100% chewed up and ingested by animals to the point where there is no trace.

September 11, Gabby's Parents reported Gabby missing. Wasn't this probable cause to take Brain into custody?

Even if they are mid-interrogation, the minute a person says I want an attorney the police must stop questioning immediately. Yep, they need to interrogate Cassie as well as the parents. Something does not add up but with the an intense interrogation , I believe, would make them spill the beans. However this should have been done WAY before Brian's remains were found. Now that Brian is confirmed dead however, I feel like they missed that golden opportunity. LE screwed up on soo many levels with the case!!

Why did FBI NOT FOLLOW BRIAN'S CAR, when he left into the Reserve? They missed BRIAN TWICE. I see NPPD as grossly incompetent. Mistakes like this should not happen if police acts competent and professional.
