Now here we have an item that wasn't necessarily my wife's idea. I had 2 clients essentially request the same spoon 4 hours apart from each other at a spring craft fair.
I tried to make them without my go to laser and router template method but was not happy with the results so I moved on to my tried and true method.
Made from walnut, maple, and cherry. In 17in length and a 3in head. They have 2 different curve radii for different pots and pans. The end and sides are flat and at 90 degrees to each other making them perfect for getting in the corners sides and bottoms of pans.
I decided I would carve out the scoops with the router and the flush them out with my drum on dremel… it worked OK. It was 2 weeks after finishing them I purchased carving burs and if I make more I will definitely use them instead.
