The hellcat hood looks so good on the Scatpack
Anyone who says that car isn't sexy is lying to themselves..Stock 485hp/475tq curb weight 4260lbs, (correction! The 2015-16 Scat Pack Challenger weighs 4085lbs. Not 4260).., but with the 443WHP/447WTQ this one has that's easily around 505+crankHP/510crankTQ..very strong N/A lightly modded Engine. That thing is a Pure Muscle Car. It's not a sports car..fyi, you really shouldn't be that surprised with its "ride quality" all SRT, & now SP challengers have always had/have excellent ride quality. People just need to stop comparing them to sports cars like the Mustang, & camaro. They are very different performance cars
how is the camaro and mustang a different performance car than the challenger? just because the camaro and mustang can do sports car things better than the challenger, does not make the challenger a different ring fighter lol. Only thing different is their weight class. I love the challenger & almost bought one. Lets face it, the camaro is beating everything from road course to straight line right now. These 3 American vehicles all compete directly with each other, just because Dodge doesn't follow suit, doesn't say otherwise lol
You make some valid points but, they're definitely not in the same class. It obviously is heavier but it is also more spacious and just a more comfortable car compared to any sports car in its price range. Although the 3 do compete I wouldn't say they compete directly.
Z06 Juan, mustang, & Camaro are clearly setting there sights on the smaller/lighter sports car segment i.e. BMW M3, etc..the Challenger is an unapologetic Pure Muscle Car. Even when you drive all 3 (which I have) the Challenger SRT, & SP feel so much different than a GT, & SS. I respect all 3, but for that feeling of Road presence, curb appeal, & deep wide torque band (especially at initial throttle tip in) the SRT/SP/HC is just a perfect MUSCLE CAR

my brother has a 2016 scat pack challenger aswell except he has it in the 8spd auto and i've got to say the auto in this car is actually amazing and shifts crazy fast. and i own a manual lol

What is the wheel and tire set up?
Good video man. Love your camera equipments and good editing. But unfortunately, this beautiful superchilled beast has 485HP, not 465.. thatll be the SRT8 392 that has 477 so you can say that. But good vid.
all Scatpacks or SRT8's have the exact same engine - its a 6.4 liter 392 cubic inch naturally aspirated engine that produces 485 HP at the crank. They are the exact same engines.
I have a Scatpack and I can tell you from watching this video he really doesn't know what he's talking about. Nor is he really getting on this car … like at all. Like not at all otherwise I don't think he could control it. Seriously.

I looked at buying one of these. The funny thing was that the manual transmission got slightly worse mileage than the modern automatic. It was just bad enough where there was a $1,000 "gas guzzler" tax on the manual.

They've shouldve put on the hellcat hood on as standard. The heat thus engine makes is insane. But not as insane as the hellcat engine

Out of curiosity keola36 I am thinking about getting this vehicle myself. I heard that the stock tires should be wider for the kind of power it puts out. Lets say if I do get this vehicle, what is your advice?
get the vehicle. get the 392 in it. and then get at least 275s on the back. it comes with some 245s that break free pretty easily. it really should have come with 275s. the 245s are fun but eventually ull want to hook up faster and not spin. the wheels in this video were aftermarket not factory - nitto motivos i think looked like DRs on the rear.
The Nittos he had on the car were great and very grippy. Although I imagine the stockers would be a bit over whelmed with the power, especially if your launching the car. I think it all depends on what you plan on doing. You could always just sell the stock tires after you get them to try and help with the cost of the better tires or just save them for burnouts ;)

Eddie Macias You can only get regular cruise with manual trans can't get the radar adaptive cruise unless you go automatic.

This hope video is confusing it a RT scat pack.
Then said it's SRT and is set up like a SRT. if it's a SRT it can't be a scat pack. I own a T/A 392 6.4 hemi it's the only than set up like this other than the old scatpacks. so it look like some one just put the scat pack stuff on it but idk I could be wrong. But it's ether a SRT or a RT. not both!
Dylan Donges the scat Pack is an RT with the SRT 6.4 engine and Brembo brakes from the earlier SRT models. The SRT covers on the engine come with the scat pack
you don't know what your talking about anymore than the guy doing the video. All Scatpacks are powered by the SRT engine. The SRT Challenger just has a few more track settings and and ride settings. That's about it. Both powered by the exact same SRT 6.4 liter engine.
did that air intake come with the induction pipe?
that was added. this car has a lot of mods that dont seem to add much but looks.

I like them both. And both have seats that are a bit wider so it all comes down to personal preference. I would suggest going and looking up close at both of them both (and test driving if possible) to see which you prefer.

Just look at that hood - who did the install?? They did a terrible job. Look at the 48 second mark - yikes! That hood isn't even close to aligned. Check out the left side from that front view. Not a good install.

Your not sure if its ScatPack, not sure of the horspower..its 485, not sure of the weight, it's at least 4200. Do at least 5 minutes of research on these basic details before doing your review.

actually the 6.4 beats the new 5.0 and the ss in a 0-60 and 1/4 mile. The brand new ss that just came out might win tho, not too sure on that one.

The thing that amazes me about people... this company took a bailout from the US government, is owned by FIAT (foreign company) and makes this car in Canada and IMPORTS it INTO the US, not "Imported from Detroit" like the ridiculous TV ads say, yet people will still buy this "American" hot rod car and still think they are buying/driving an American car. My Toyota truck was made in Texas for christ's sake. Being from Detroit and having lived there in my youth and seeing the TOTAL BEATING that Detroit took from companies like Chrysler leaving the area and moving production to Mexico and Canada, this makes me sick.

RWHP is actually around 400 not 485
SJC Cobra it's higher than that with the tremec manual
All cars state their HP at the crank. So its 485 HP. But if talking specifically about true HP at the rear wheels than take off about 15% HP loss by the time it gets to the wheels. So more like 412 HP at the wheels.
There is nothing stock about that Scat Pack
