Due to me getting a new job, I had to move and I'm now residing in Boston! Due to moving to Boston, I had no piano/keyboard so I bought myself a new keyboard! (with nearly my entire first paycheck...) The keyboard is a Yamaha P-155. I love it; it has great sound and it mimics actual weighted keys quite well.
The piece "Anxious Heart" is a beautiful part of the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack. It brings back a lot of memories of the game.
🎤 Original Song: Anxious Heart
✍🏻 Original Composer: Nobuo Uematsu
📀 Album: Final Fantasy VII OST
🎼 Piano arrangement by: Mr. Doofus
Enjoy~

That part at 1:21 always pricks the heart.
Because Uematsu's work is resigned to video games, he'll never get the respect he deserves as one of the great composers of all time in any medium. Great job on the cover!
Well said, it's unfortunate that outside the core gaming community he only gets minor recognition. Such an extraordinary composer! Appreciate the love for the cover. :)
Always surprised to see likes/replies to my comments...but thanks for bringing me back to this piece-truly a simple, but great one.
beautiful, makes me tear up every time
Practice. That's all anyone could tell you, that and discipline. When you try to learn this song, don't make my mistakes, don't get up and leave when you start making mistakes while playing. When you try to learn a song, just sit down and play it, play it over and over again until you're satisfied. The worst thing you could do is give up. Good luck!
Wow, I just realized you asked that question a year ago... lol, late much...
Tears in my eyes. I love FF7 music, and I love the piano. Perfect pairing. Amazing.
Love the way it sounds on your piano. I wanted to buy a yamaha P-155 but I searched high and low for a cheap one...& no luck.
Glad you're still playing piano after all these years 👍
Glad to be back man! Appreciate the support. I'm actually currently working on a cover of FFVII's Main Theme. Stay tuned :)
For me this has always been the real theme of FF7. How does it feel, to be back in your hometown after so long?
Love this! You played it so beautifully!
Thank you Mavic! Glad you enjoyed the cover. More Final Fantasy covers to come. ;)
Wow, really beautiful. Sounds like it came straight out of the game! Keep up the great work. :)
this song really set the mood of Midgar
:’)

Nice job! It's nice to see someone play this 12 years ago
The best piano cover of Anxious heart.
Well done! A true Masterpiece! It's even more dramatic than the original!
this song brings me back memories...
Try googling for ff music shrine, if you are looking for FF sheet musics. Some of them ( mostly for 5/6 ) appear to be somewhat off, but the majority of the stuff there is reliable, and most of the piano collections are there too.
You'll find anxious heart there.
Beautiful. Very good job. I love this song myself.
Woot woot! New keyboard! Hehe... No wonder it smells wonderful! :D
I love piano music, and I love to listen FF7 songs, but I can say that this is the only one I've really loved aside from Nobuo's work. Kudos :')
I can't believe how old this video is.
I love this and i love you. ❤ 💜💖
You play this with emotion :) Very nice.
dude... that's so true.. its practically the heart of the song.. :D
good...
This is macro magnificent. I love ir.
Nobuo, you genius!
Magnanimous.
Hasufel y Arod Magnanimous. Adjective. Generous in forgiving an insult or injury; free from petty resentfulness or vindictiveness.
Example usage: "Some people are more lenient in the face of such grievous violation of the English language. I, however, am not so magnanimous. Consult a fucking dictionary before you type."
I'm Very Angry It's Not Butter Do not be so squeaky. I love to come accros a grammar nazi; I am one regarding my language.
But don't be too pricky. I mean, even native speakers do not speak the language well. Charles Dickens himself uses "persons" instead of "people" in A Tale of Two Cities.
Hasufel y Arod
"Persons" is grammatically correct. It's often used in legalese.
@@imveryangryitsnotbutter i can't believe this comment is still here. Thanks again for the correction, dear stranger.
@@imveryangryitsnotbutter I come back here to say, you were right. I used this word wrong.
great cover! :3
That's so touching and beautiful... I bet, no downloading?
Very good.
I know this video is almost 12 years old, but do I'd like to ask, where did you find this music sheet? Is it online?
Beautiful cover by the way, this is such a pretty but depressing melody and I love it
Thanks Sofi. So I found the sheets many years ago (probably 15+) on a site called Mr. Doofus and had printed them out at the time. Not sure his site is still around though. Sorry I can't help more!
@rentiper It's not that this song is very difficult to learn. Well, this arrangement at least. The piano 'Those Who Fight' from AC is really waay tougher.
A year? It's really simple and short. With an hour a day and hardly any skill (me) I'd say a matter of weeks.
wow, i like it so much^^
So tasteful. Great job! Did you find sheet music for these?
I'm currently learning this, I think I'm learning it from the piano collections sheet music, are you using the same? it seems like one of the chords you're playing isn't as difficult as the one I'm playing, a few notes look slightly modified.
Great job, great song, great game. Can you send me sheet?
Brings back memories.^^ Where did you find the sheet music for this?
did you connect the piano into a computer to record the sounds?
Song was so good I got mako poisoning
One person was in the Midgar slum when it collapsed...
@keverinkarama
I was making fun of the person who hit Dislike, I know this is played in the Playground after fighting/grinding the living house enemies... yeah I do grind there, and on Mailboxes in the sewers.
heheh.... you're welcome!! :)
@BoyKagome who? and that isnt the place where they play this song.
FYI: finalfantasymusicscores . com / FFMS / PIANO
The basics are actually quite easy and the piano is much easier to sound decent with then other instruments.
