Over the years, watching you play and stretch the Enchanter class to it's fullest potential with these solo crawls... has been a total inspiration for me (and I'm sure, so many others). Tolajump - Jumpalot, lol his nice item is a caster robe with Attach Haste. But the Myconid Spore King has the ever illusive Fugi Tunic, epix twink item remember having one in Kunark 2001 my 55 wiz got it then used on my Iksar Monk at early, heh most lvls that +15 health regen is BoS. Good times, never played P99 as I was never able to find a Platinum version of EQ, still jump on Live w/ 4 box 115s, need to get 120 now.
@@RektYou little update, recently hit 35 on my ench, farmed the gazugi ring lastnight, took about 12 hours ( pretty good from what i hear) so far been 100% solo, trying out splitpaw tonight when i get some free time. yours guides and explanations are truly amazing!

Curious if you have ever tried giving clarity to a caster pet? Does it work? Watching the bok wiz fight the leprous scarab and you commented how caster pets suck when out of mana. Was just a thought if it would make any meaningful difference.
it would work, but NPCs already have quicker than usual mana regen and a clarity isn't going to boost regen much. it's only a few points of mana per tick. Caster pets do the least dps because of the casting. Their spells take away from teh quadding potential of the melee and often can cause headaches with your debuffs or escape strategy. Nothing worse than havign a mob dotted when you're trying to mez them. Best not to use a caster pet, but if you get one, I'm constantly trying to sit them down every cast these days.
It's too bad that even with the entire p99 community watching your videos you'd still be under 2k subs... These enchanter crawls are awesome and I wish there was a larger player base to be interested in these vids. Cheers bro

i've spent over 40 hours at that camp with no ring drops lol. So i also hate that camp. I did start a recording for it one time, but it made me so mad, i deleted it hah. Pretty much kill every potential placeholder in the area of the spawn points... then wait for something ot pop on that spawn point... if it starts popping same spot every 30 seconds, then you have the right one. It's definitely a pain camp, but others have had much better luck than I.
Hey Rekt, any good tips for grouping with a chanter? Coming from a TLP it's way different on p99 Green with no buffs/timers on targets or even the ability to cycle through targets.
yea it's old school on p99 green ahah. The damn no cycling targets is a pain but you do get used to having to get the right angle to click a mob in the pile. If you play on a PC, you can download the GINA timers for your buffs and such. THis is huge for enchanters. I play on a mac unfortunately and they don't have GINA for mac :(. I always cast buffs on myself first so I know my timers to avoid people having to ask when it's dropping.
Tolapmuj is easy to solo at 65 with a shaman. He doesn’t pull when you pull the juggernauts around him. The juggernauts are not easy to solo at 65, especially since they all come at once. Nodding Blue Lily and Wax Flower are for alchemy and poison making, respectively. The alchemy trivial for the Lily is 348, so it’s kind of a good one for cheap skill increases at roughly 2p for the other ingredients.

Have you ever considered doing a dungeon guide with recommandations on whats soloable by enchanter and at what level ? Or even maybe a tierlist of soloable content ^^ Thanks again for you work !!

it's not too difficult. Just right click your chat box and create a new window... then filter each window with the data you want showing there. Next time my UI resets on me, i'll record something.
The seb berserker cloak drops ultra rarely off of just about everything in the zone, including Trakanon. There's really no point singling out kor shaman.
click the spell in your spellbook than press the # key associated with the spell slot. So if you want root at 1, then click root from spell book at press 1. Much faster way to mem the spells.
you click the spell then press the # key associated with the slot you want to mem that spell. so for example, you want root at the top slot, you can click root then press the 1 key and it will mem it there
Hello RektYou! I came back for a question: I heard this chain-stun-effect with the color flux spell lines won't work anymore. Because they changed the cool down for all spells in that line on the same time. So.. how do you act now? I think a single color flux spell won't be enough to give you time :(
I haven't played on P99 in a couple months. So, I haven't experienced or heard about that update. that would make it very rough to handle bad situations. they must not like the enchanter imbalance any longer.

another trick with the illusion thru locked door, if you sit in front of the door then click off illusion you'll pop right thru one shot, mained a rogue :)
that doesn't work on p99 unfortunately... or at least I've never gotten it to go. Popping off the illusion only gets you stuck in the door but has never popped me out hte other side. the stalking probe has always been the extra step needed to get all the way through. Maybe the rogue mechanics work differently

Great vid. You make it look so easy. I've died many times just trying way easier stuff at lvl 55. I panic to easily. Also, how can you tell what level the mobs are from their damage?
Getting used to that panic feeling is definitely a huge shift playing an enchanter haha. Knowing the details of your tools and quirks of the game helps with that a lot. In classic and kunark, enemies all have a max hit for their lvl. So, you can tell if an enemy is 51, 52, etc by the max they hit in a fight. It's been a while since i played, so I can't remember the exacts, but if you pay attention for a few, you can pick it up quickly. it's like 2-3 damage difference per lvl.

I use the input command /target NAME to select enemies I know are near but can't see. You can use camera angles to look around corners and using Bind Sight spell also helps get a view of a room you're not in.
Hello RektYou thank you for the video. Had a question about the GCD reset on Rod - after I use it I have press the spell I want at least twice for it to cast. Is something wrong on my end or is that normal behavior?
i think it has a very short delay, so if you instantly tap the second key, it will sometimes not get the input. I know I sometimes have to rapidly push my second cast.

@@RektYou I was told of a trick where the rod of insidious glamour can be used to reset the spell cast timer so you can cast pacify faster. Do you use that technique?
@@rybot912 yes. the rod or any other instant cast spell item can be used to instantly reset the global cooldown timer. the top slot spell will instantly pop back up and can be used to cut down wait time on certain spells. If the spell has a recast timer longer than the GCD, you'll have to wait till the natural timer is reached. Root, mez, and other short recast spells can be spammed with this strategy... but with pacify, you have to wait 1-2 seconds after the cast finishes before you use rod to reset or it will fail.
No need to farm peridots. You'll make tons of money soloing as an enchanter and the cost of peridots is just part of doing business. Trust me when I say you DO NOT want to skip rune absorption spells. This is the 2nd most important line of spells behind charm when it comes to soloing stuff. 10pp every few minutes to save a death is very much worth it haha.

hey man, I see you very quickly mem spells to your bar using hotkeys, where do I configure that? I can't find the settings on p99

What happened @1:38:46 to get the add to reset without joining in? Did you mez/calm/mem blur?
looks like I mezzed him, pacified him, then blurred him while my pet was going at the named

How do you know when blur is successful?
their life will tick back up by 5% a tick or you can cast invis to undead to see if they are indifferent or still aggro
