I love that you care enough to add the mulch back in the hedge, it's a treat for them. You are a wonderful gardener and I have never thought what you do s stupid, you're brilliant in my eyes. Now that waste at the back is such a shame, any way you could get the job of doing your magic to it. What a huge mess they have made. LOL probably not your idea of fun but it might teach their gardener how he should be doing it.
😊😊👍👍👍
I've been working with this method of clear up since I first watched you do in your earlier vid and not looked back since, it's a big thank you from me as this saves my back and time.
cheers buddy glad you like it 👍👍👍👍
I just took the time to watch all your old and new videos, thanks you are very inspiring!
Thank you very much. Much appreciated 🙏
Will do. Somehow watching the garden transformation is therapeutically addictive. Lol. Excellent jobs on everything.
😊😊😊🙏
I do enjoy watching you sculpt the hedges
🤩🤩🤩
It's made sense to me from the first time I watched you do it. Thanks!
👍👍👍😁
Stuff the haters mate😄😄 I think the recycling of all the trimming is a genius way of up cycling the green waste, plus it’s good for the garden 😄😄
😉👍👍
You are so helpful to all of us thank you.
You're welcome 😊
Enjoy watching you hedge, trim & mow. Your tips vids are informative.
thank you very much 😊😊😊
Lee i can feel your arms burning all the way ober here in Boston. Great job as usual
No Lee please video everything you do ,I love to see how you work. I’m 66 now and only do my yard when I used to work at Sea world in landscaping department, I really miss working . Thank you so much for your videos.
Glad you enjoy them thank you 😊😊
Fully agree with the mulching of clippings, since seeing it in your videos i have started doing it and it helps hugely on time and effort. Previously was hauling bulk bags away and burning waste or taking it to the tip but its time consuming and ineffective. At the moment i mulch it into the box as my leaf blower is pathetic and wont blow the mulch out of the grass. So an upgrade to the blower is most certainly the next thing on my equipment list!
👍👍👍
Love the mulching your saving the environment and we all know it turns into soil/compost. We have also done it for years. All the old videos are still a great watch keep up the good I mean GREAT work lee.
Thank you Justin 👌👌
Amazing as always from the Master Gardener. Beautiful, Lee.
🙈🙈🤩🤩😊😊😊😊
leaving that mound the way it is has become a major fire hazard as well... do the home owners know how massive that waste pile is? i would show them ur video & offer a fix... a well priced fix. anyway nice job luv as always.
And you did it 'Your Way" :)
Nice work fella.
🙈.......🤣🤣🤣 👍
Hiya Lee. Thanks very much for your tips you give to us all? helped me massively as a Gardener doing the job for just over 2 years. The mulching tip has helped me massively! #imlisteningtolee
🤣🤣🤣cheers mate glad you are enjoying them 🎥📽🎬... 🤩
@@LHLgardenservices 😂👍
Cracking job mate love this hedge 💪👊👍
Cheers Paul 🤘🤘
Another beautiful job!
😁😁👍👍😁😁
Thanks for your videos!
Cheers from Brazil
Thank you so much 👍😎😎
You or spot on with the way you do things.( Keep on doing it)👍👍👍
cheers 😊😊😊
Nice job Lee, loved the way you use the mower for mulching the clippings. 👍👍👍👍👍👍😉🇺🇸
🤘🤘🤘👍
I think you should of used a tarp, then picked up all the branches and twigs with some tweezers, put the clippings into sandwich bags and blown any bits away with a hairdryer. That pile of leaves and branches will be there in decades. The Oregon blade is on my to buy list. I just don't know when I'm going to use it!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈
Sandwich bags my bum.....tea bags!
@@wayneessar7489 🙈🙈🙈🤣🤣
@@wayneessar7489 I guess we gardeners can drink a lot of tea.
O u guys crack me up!!
Very nice job! So satisfying to watch :) Thank you.
Thank you for watching 👍👍
Brilliant as usual
thanks so much 🤩👍👍
Nice neat job again Lee. I'm so sick of taking waste away from jobs I've ordered a Stihl shredder/chipper, I've got the Oregon blade for the strimmer, and I'm going to blast everything into dust from now on!! :-)
Sounds like a plan stan 🤩🤩🤩
Looks great you always do such a nice job!
🤩🤩thanks very much
Perfection....TFS
thank you ...glad you enjoyed it 👍👍👍
Great job!
Thank you Lidia 😊
Hi Lee Their gardener obviously brings waste from other jobs to dump here .But i agree with you he could at least shred it.
At first I didn't think the hedge needed much of a trim but when you walked through the arch it was obvious.
In our local paper in an article by Bonnie Bloddghet she regretted telling us to use a tarp to put trimmings and leaves on and using your mulching mower on it. She had heard of this method and hadn't tried it before she put it in her column. Boy did she regret that! She tried it herself after having published that column and ruined a tarp, frayed her nerves, made a mess of the mower ,made a mess of her lawn, and the mulch that she had planned on using on her trees and gardens had to be bundled up for the trash because of all the minut pieces of plastic in it. It was rather a depressing experience.
Hey Lee, you should really be using a tarp mate. only joking, I love what you do, thanks.
🤣👍👍
Perfect 👌🏻
😁😁😁👍👍👍
People will always find something to moan about, at the end of the day you've saved the customer money in waste removal, at least it's not piled/dumped like their other gardener does it.
Absolutely 👍👍 cheers 💪
Great video yet again thanks lee, what’s the model number of the Honda you bought and using on this vid?
I really need to come over and work...
Well done dude! Dont stop the videos coming even if they are similar! Theres always somthing new in it somewhere or somthing we didn't notice before!!
Out of interest what height setting do you put the mower on? The lowest or does it depend on what your mulching?
Good job lad!
cheers buddy glad you enjoy them 👍👍👍..yes depends on what I'm mulching and how much...I would finish it off on the lowest 👍👍
If you've filmed this hedge 3 times, that means I've watched all 3. I never get bored with reruns. Enjoy every one! Thanks Lee. 👍🏻😀
thanks very much ❤
You're welcome. Oh, I failed to mention.....I loved the slow motion part with the beautiful music!! 👍🏻
all my waste gets shredded by the mower and collected for compost. can't believe the size of that pile
YEP...wouldn't have that if I looked after the garden that's just totally lazy..its a waste of good waste 😁
Lee, great channel. Its like being there and doing the job myself. Very didactic. One question, have you try setting up a laser levelas a guide, for marking the hedge edges to be trimmed?
Cheers pal👍👍
Great job as usual. I have a couple of questions…do you have any idea how old a hedge this size is? Does it remain green in winter or does it drop all its leaves? What are the scraggly plants along the fence line? They look like weeds that need pulling. Thanks. I’m always curious.
Great video, every day is a school day. What hedge trimmer are you using. Will all mulching mowers work, what mower are you using. Thanks in advance.
great vid again mate how much did you pay for the honda also how do you go about telling them that you mulch the staff rather than just pile it up ect
Cheers...just explain what I'm intending to do as I said sometimes it goes in their heap or even bin 👍
Hi lee dont think I'm seen that video before and i didn't think i missed any 👍I'm always got questions sorry was that done recently and how long did that take it looks a big hedge on video. Could you get away munching the leaves up with a normal mower i just think it's a great idea and someone who's been gardening for 30 years or more you have you no what you are talking about great job mate 👍👍
Done it yesterday. Yes any mower would shred waste but a mulching mower gets it small 👍
Cheers lee 👍😀
Great idea, how does it ware on the lawn mower blade? Do you find you have to sharpen it more often?
Cheers ..all depends what you are cutting ..just keep checking and sharpen when needed 🤷♂️
Great Job again Lee. No criticism but a genuine question, why didn't you start with the top of the hedge?
Cheers...I never do...once the sides are cut and out your way you can see clearly where you want to start cutting your line...👍
great vid bud them ladders are quite expensive
cheers mate..yes ..they are a bit but they are good 💪💪
Belting job that lee. Something about cutting beach hedge that gives better job satisfaction than other hedges when done! How long did that take you?
Cheers mate..about 6 hrs👍
LHL garden services what mulching mower is that? I may have to look into using this tactic of mulching the cuttings...will save my waste cost and having to fit it all in the van
I can’t think why anyone would disapprove of mulching the clippings and putting them back in a border or under the hedge! The plant took the nutrients from the soil; it makes perfect sense to return those nutrients to the soil!
👍👍let them do it their way...ill do it mine 😉
That pile will kill the trees in the end to.
A nice hot dry day and a badly discarded cigarette would soon get rid of all that garden waste 😋
🙈
I'm trying to get through all of them but I can't find them àll love
What do you mean Wendy??
What do you charge yourself out at if you don't mind saying? And do you tend to price or hourly rate?
Great videos by the way
cheers glad you enjoy the vids 👍sorry cant help with the pricing there is SO much to go into...have you seen my video talking about pricing?
ua-cam.com/video/ykCHVTmr5CQ/v-deo.html
don't you ever take any cuttings away ? . sorry new to your channel , so you mulch them and put them under the hedge ? or use it where ? thanks
Yes pal I do different things depending on the job..it can go under the hedge..on the border..on the compost heap or last resort taken away 👍
@@LHLgardenservices thanks for your reply
You should have put a tarp down.
I never thought someone would say that 🤔🤔🤔 🤣
nice job, sure I have seen this before, but then my memory isn't as good as it used to be, how come you don't use a tarp?
Sorry I could not Reas ist. great job
🤣🤣 🙈 "what is this tarp you do talk of " 🤔
@@LHLgardenservices I was trying to think of a sentence where I could say, tah pauline
@@TKG 🙈🙈🙈
the people that drop these comments dont ha ve experiance of garden maintenace
Everyone obsess with traps which very time consuming and more trouble what are worth.
absolutely 👌
Have you told the customer that you could get that pile of garden waste down?. Hard to believe the customer is happy with the mess at the bottom of the garden.
No mate I havnt seen him yet but I will mention it...would be a great job to sort out....💪💪💪💪
Have you treated yourself to a new mulcher??
had it a couple of months now 👍👍
Why do'nt you put a tarp down?
"what is this tarp you talk of ??"
You should have put a tarp down, kidding you know what suits you best, think you should get yourself a petrol pressure washer and hypo and go make££££££££s you've enough work to justify a washer and surface cleaner
😊👍
Don't Lie you are nowhere near the beach
🙈🏖
Thats not a compost heap, thats a dump! Wish folk would turn their heaps once in a while and re use the organic material. I hate seeing piles of mushy stinking grass not decomposing in the corner of a garden, rather than be so lazy, properly mulch it and at least leave the nutrient on the lawn where they can be re- used. Why is it most of my hedges have a rockery next to them?
Yep I agree....its just a dump...so frustrating it could be a great source of compost AND look good at the same time 👍
