Really rewarding to watch such pride and attention to detail. You set the standard for the likes of me to aspire to. I'm not a bricky (I'm from the dark side...... I'm a sparky 💥⚡) but I like to dabble with bits and bobs of brickwork on my own house and garden. When I was an apprentice spark, the old boys of the time that taught me used to insist on neat and tidy workmanship, even cables that would never be seen again under floors, buried in plaster etc. It didn't take much to p..ss them off and they'd have me start again and "do it properly". I can still hear them now in my head....."That's not how I showed you, that's just plain laziness that is boy, don't you be turning out shite like that on my job you little b..stard, now take that all out and do it again properly or you needn't bother coming tomorrow!" Good times, I miss them 😎
Wow budd great work 😁 as a beginner bricky who has now been doing bricklaying for about 6 months it’s really nice to see how the perps are all in line with each other and great to see the bricks completed surrounding by mortar like the brick is completely stuck in the mortar if you know what I mean 😅 I really like how you use the pointing trowel to get rid of the little bits of mortar hanging on to the joints, it really gives the joints and the brickwork a sharp look, I’m 18 and have just started basically and watching your bricklaying videos are a huge inspiration to me and I have learn a lot from you budd since I started in September, keep up the good work budd thanks 😁👍
Death blaster keep at it , sometimes you will think a can’t do this but it will come, and eventually you will find your own style, you will notice we all do things a different way on you tube , but generally end up with the same end result, listen to everything and take on board what works for you, many thanks for watching 👍👍
Use a thick sponge from b&q or Halfords mate will save you having to do all of that with the pointing trowel and jointer so much! Leaves no brush marks. Good work
good work and Video, I Prefer the Hubbard Barrel jointer, you didn't brush it??I use back of my trowel when jointing up. Good VIDEO, ONLY MY POLITE OBSERVATIONS Love good work.
Get yourself a feather duster or even better a horse hair brush, that brush you used was definitely not fit for purpose, its the only way to finish in the winter with non porous bricks and the muck doesnt go off(and its a friday at 3pm) ;-). Good work mate 👍
Lovely work bud, being able to spend time doing quality work is all fair and well but you'll bleed most jobs dry. We can all piss about like we're still at college but you'll never get any work...200 brick a day man. Looks very neat all the same.
Is this Steve Austin , AKA the bionic man? , it’s my own project so it enables me to do things how I want to, but there are customers out there that want a quality job and are prepared to pay for it, many thanks for watching 👍👍

Nice work
Cheers Jim Jam, are you in the trade ? 👍
You do a superb quality job but how much does it cost you or are you a day rate which is fair do’s
With the amount playing with the beds, taps and scrapes of the brick. Day rate would be my guess
@@wumpty93 he does a good job but it’s building not not watch making 😂
Youngsters would do right by watching you they can slash them down later
This one is his own gaff I think
