I am at a Sauna Resort currently. Very disappointing, no Live Music anywhere nor does the finnish Sauna play metal.

Yes - the Vulfpeck rabbithole has many branches. My first exposure to Cory AND Joe was the clip from MSG, so it was definitely cool to see this today after traveling down wongettes, fearless flyers rabbitholes. Joe did some 'other' stuff too though, right?
I legitimately thought they quietly broke up. I was like "probably some bad blood over money or something" based on nothing other than their radio silence

One of the small things vulfpeck taught me is that the hardest thing is not to be showy and flashy with lots of fills and riffs, but to play the fewest notes possible as well as they can be played. That’s real mastery.
I have heard it referred to as playing "tasty". I like that term and have adopted it.
Joe headbobbing, Joey playing his heart away, Antwaun with the vocals, it can't possibly get sweatier/funkier than this.

Nailed that 70's dry snare sound, and it's amazing how much that determines the whole feel. Sounds like a Supertramp outtake in the best possible way.

I think it might be "simple step" from groove spoon, that old college band with Joe, Antwaun, and Jack (which was also composed by jack I think). I simply cannot wait to hear this

the reason i credited simple step under vulfmon instead of groove spoon is because i found the original song on dj paradiddle's bandcamp (jack's old bandcamp account, which also had an old version of it gets funkier). i don't think jack goes by dj paradiddle anymore so i wrote vulfmon instead
the bandcamp version doesn't feature the horns you hear in the groove spoon version so i'm assuming it came out earlier. nevertheless, i'm excited to hear what the vulfpeck rendition is going to sound like

Why is no one talking about JOE DART ON THE PRECISION BASS
First time I've saw him use one. It may just be the camera angles but the neck looked a little bit like a jazz bass neck to me. However, Joe's renowned for keeping things simple so I doubt he'd mod a P-bass, but you never know. Someone below mentioned it may be a short scale P-bass which would explain matters lol.
