Is it cheap to eat out in japan . Restaurants, Starbucks etc as everyone goes out for coffee and cake . In uk England its quite expensive for a decent meal plus servers expects tips I rarely eat out and have a home cafe at home. ❤

in japan, i wouldn't say it's cheap, but it's quite reasonable imo and it's also rare to give tips when eating out
