As one of the four Swain mains out there, i'm happy that he's now doing good. Still watching rito for the mini rework tho, because they'll probably end up nerfing him for being too strong bot, thus making him unplayable mid 👀
if you watch closely, this was recorded turbo early into the patch, where swain still had only 200 recorded games, aka low sample size. now, further into the patch we can see that the winrate is lingering at 53-55%, just like the previous 50+ patches. swain is still garbage, and only a well delivered kit rework can change that. he has way too much counterplay, and way too few powerspikes to be a good champion.
Soooo thisss is why fiddlesticks also suddenly felt a lot better to play. People aren't instantly gibbing me as soon as I use my W anymore. Normally when I try to use it to heal people just hit me a few times and I explode. Now I can actually win fights with it.
The winners of the item nerfs are all the champions with good base numbers in favor of scaling and infinite stacking champions, not just because every stack is worth more when items give less stats overall but also because games last a minute or two longer on average which gives you more time to stack. Other champs to keep an eye out for: Singed ( 53% WR Emerald +), Veigar, Poppy and Shen
@@eebbaa5560 Imo Sylas is above average right now, though due to his ult it does depend a bit on who he is facing, without ult I'd say maybe A tier, though with the potential to get into S tier, especially when you get some of the stronger ults, like Malphite.
Now that finally explains why my winrate is 90% this season. (Normals, so stay calm everyone it doesnt mean anything) We were just waiting to finally sstart loosing our bot matchups again but it just aint happening. Also very nice that you gave our grand general husum some love. Absolute chad.
Swain has been like this since his modern rework. But nobody plays him enough to notice. The play you said was impossible is done every other match. And tank build on him is bad if your behind but if you were ever slightly ahead it's over for the enemy team.
That's the problem with riot balancing the game, swain should be a drain dps, his heal should be base on his damage same as his all abilities, just nerf base damage and increase ap scaling, decrease base healing and increase healing from doing damage.... he is counted as a battle mage afterall not battle tank XD
1:15 well yeah morello sucks, you dont need LS to tell you that, but if youre playing swain and ennemy has lots and lots of healing, u can build oblivion orb and you'll 100% apply it to almost everyone in fights so you realistically only need one antiheal item (again, very situational). Just because some guy (especially LS who's super biaised in everything he says) who happens to be an analyst says something is bad doesnt mean you should never build it, what kind of backwards logic is that.
@@jloonix I tried it and I must admit I played worse champs in jungle... His clear is not bad, he can contest and zone a few junglers and his W is amazing to scout and can be spammed to pole Laners while you do your camps. It kinda works, but isn't as good as a usual jungler. Yet the team fight and ganks are pretty good.
Wow… just wow… this was really something. Ok but haha I’m probably getting ahead of myself. Let’s start from the beginning. So I clicked on to the video and the first thing I noticed was the run time. Just perfect. A short video is really what I’m looking for. It doesn’t drag on and it just has what’s important. Another example of this is the show Mr. In between that I just recently watched. It has a small amount of episodes but just enough. So you get what you need but not too much. This is just how it should be. Now when it comes to swain I mean cmon. Who doesn’t love swain. I saw the thumbnail and audibly said “hell yeah!” Now I don’t want to lie though. My favorite character is chogath but I can take swain as a close second. Something else this reminds me of is arena. That’s because I played arena one time and got a swain on my team. Now to tell the truth he was not that good but that’s what’s great about arena. It’s just a fun game mode where skill is not really the limiting factor. Anyone can hop on and have a good time. So in conclusion thank you for this video and I can’t express how grateful I am. I love league and I love getting this extra content related to league. I thought I was playing a game but no… I was joining a community.
Thanks man, I’m really glad you enjoyed the vid. 🥲 That’s cool that Cho’s your main, he’s definitely one of the most fun tanks in the game, and I heard recently from my friend that Mr Inbetween was pretty good, and had another friend who saw it saying it was bad (his name was Jone), if you were to rate it on a scale of 1-10 what do you think it’d be? I really appreciate the comment!
Wait, so what happened to Garen? Hows his winrate? Edit: nevermind lol, i think i just found out the hardway, his scaling is absolutely gutted this patch, cant burst anyone, cant chase anyone, cant escape from anyone now, atleast the tank build is still good enough ... Ironically i got absolutely destroyed by support swains.
Yaa new patch hit him hard apparently, can’t build the movement speed like before but they probably buffing him next patch so he should be good again soon! And also that’s crazy 😭 ppl are really cooking on him rn
Walk with E. Recall. Spend your money.
Wait...

I pocket picked him top a few times and literally destroyed as him (granted low elo ranked games), makes sense that hes strong

I wish I could play Him mid in Master tier...
I see one more reason to play him in jungle!
it takes a special kind of person to have a 30% winrate on swain on a patch where his avg winrate is 60%
@@scrimb I'm sorry, but tonight I'll get the 29%!

Let be honest, swain is so fk garbage. Does swain deal damage? No
Does swain actually tank?
No
Does swain actually heal?
No

deserved for playing garen
@@eebbaa5560 Yeah Garen was a turbo cancer statstick that didn't even have the good sense to get kitted properly like Nasus.
@spacehitler4537 nah nasus doesnt have a point and click infinite duration 99% slow and attack speed reduction no thats not real
@conniefan123 while the nasus can stop you you can still stop the Nasus. The same cannot be said of Garen.
