In each blade of grass the entire universe. To get caught up in trivial nonsense and miss the universe under ones feet is like falling in love with a plastic flower that can never bring fragrance in a breeze. Embrace natures wisdom...a love that never ends. ✨🌻❤🐕🐾
That line from ‘The Night Before Christmas’ always brings a lump to my throat. I think it’s because it brings Christmas Eve to a natural close, and the next thing we know is………🎄🤶🎅🧑🎄✝️ And Im an agnostic! 😲🎄
I love all the seasons. I can't imagine living in a country that's always hot. Or cold for that matter. I feel that living through seasons is part of what makes us.
Thank you, Ruth. This is the first video I have not been able to explain exactly what I mean. So frustrating. Then it came to me on our afternoon walk. One paragraph… ‘done.’ I’m fallible. I can live with it. 😊
Like a treasure hunt, I had to research that clue. Winter Song. A powerful song as you listen to its lyrics. As I pull my covers up each night, I pray for those around the world choosing to survive the elements on the streets. Others, a hand up - not out. Thanks Nigel.
@@primalengland Aye, Alan Hull. He and a few of his mates formed a local pop band that did very well for them globally - Lindisfarne. I used to chat quite a bit with Alan, usually in the Magi Bank pub and although he always look so miserable, he was a hell of an intellect. I worked with most of the guys over the years and found them to be a great bunch. Alan's funeral was a bit of a surprise as hundreds, and I mean HUNDREDS of folks turned up including almost every famous musician, TV and films star that had any ties with Tyneside or the band.
@@justahappygardener I remember when he died. It came as a bit of a shock. My brother has lived In or around Middlesbrough since he went to Uni in Newcastle about 100 years ago. He used to go to all the Christmas gigs they did. I was a drummer, still am a percussionist, and Ray Laidlaw was a huge influence of mine. My mate was Pete Shelley who was in Buzzcocks. We played in the same band for a couple of years……. The styles weren’t really compatible.

What lovely thoughts about nature! Thank you for beginning my day like this. I am grateful that I live in an area where the seasons are so distinct and pleasurable to me. Peace.
For every season, turn, turn, turn, there is a season, turn, turn turn. There is a season under heaven...a time to live, and a time to die. A time to love, a time to hate, A time for.... Goes the song. I could never live in a land without the seasons! Love how you bring about "food " for thought! 😊

I have been away for a while so it is truly great to be able to catch up with you Nigel. Fantastic content as usual. The very best of health to you sir ❤
Nicely Out of Tune was always my favourite album, probably because it was the first, and I was just the right age, 16. Also it had ‘Lady Eleanor’ and ‘Clear White Light.’ What’s not to like.
I cannot agree with you more! Quite poetic you are; you should (if you don't already) write! Write down these marvellous one-man-and-a-dog musings - they are wonderful!
