It takes up to 1000 miles to break in the transmission. It gets faster. That lag at the beginning goes away after about 500 miles. Read the owners manual its all in there. : )
Glad you liked it. Yes it’s a test drive not a review. A lot of people complain that I don’t show the back seats and the trunk and other things. Like bruh if you need to watch that go watch my full review or others full review lol.
It does noticibly better than my 2018 rav 4 did. Its more aggressive on the corrections. It keeps it pretty good in the center. Still need to baby sit, but its good.
Buy it 9 months later for 16 Grand don't pay the 27-28 grand. Terrible depreciation. I had a friend that had one and the transmission has already went bad and he took a $10,000 loss in 5 months.

False info. i have the N-Line. 5k miles still noticeable lag. its called turbo lag. Most turbo engines have that lag.
Love that you got right into the test drive. So many other reviewers downplay test drives. Great job!

I have a grey and red n line. The tech package comes with a sunroof.
Adding tech pack will include the semi-autonomous Highway Driving Assist feature---
5:25 that was the blind spot detection warning. You still had your right turn signal on and there was a car on your right side blind spot.
Did you really say in manual mode you wish it would shift itself?
How reliably does the lane follow assist (steering assist) keep the car centered in its lane? Thanks!

@@thegringoscottproductions1699 thanks for the insight-- KIA/Hyundai do indeed have some of the better lane centering tech in the industry!
