INGREDIENTS
Milk tea base
6 cups milk
2 tablespoons loose black tea leaves (or 4 tea bags)
3 tablespoons light brown sugar
Ice cubes
Tapioca pearls
1/4 cup (65ml) water
1/4 cup (45g) muscovado sugar, or another dark brown sugar
7/8 cup (110g) tapioca starch, plus more for dusting
1 cup water (for braising syrup)
1/2 cup muscovado sugar, or another dark brown sugar (for braising syrup)

So i made it, it was not hard but it consumed a lot of time (if you are making it with someone it could be fun) the final product was not worth all the hassle. It was good but just to drink it once or twice feels like a waste of time.

I have never been able to taste boba, but I saw a bottled soda that had some balls on the bottom and tought it might be boba. They popped in my mouth and had liquid inside, I didn't like it and I was left with more questions than answers. Thanks to this video I know what they are supposed to be like.
