The French are super classy when it comes to their boutique's (very sophisticated retailers), so you fall in love instantly in each shop that you walk into; and then there's the fragrance's....it's no wonder that you spend a million dollars! You know, this was just an 'ordinary' croissant from a regular brasserie...but oh mamma! Compared to our 'Aussie Croissant's' this was magic. But wait til you try one from a really good boulangerie (triple "Oh Mamma's!!!") Paris was wonderful, we had a awesome stay and found the people very easy going (which I know is not what everyone tells you...maybe we got lucky for 5 days straight🤔) Always good to hear from you Juan👊🏽

Coucou Marcelo, we French struggle with our own language anyway ... and I bet Parisians will forgive any foreigners' mistake unless they try to compete on the arrogance field😉(to all tourists out there: say "bonjour" and "merci" + a bit of patience and you should be safe 😁). I hope you haven't bumped into too many trash bags as the people collecting them are on strike (I heard some tourists find it "so french" hahaha! ... most of the French support them, and the protests, but Paris probably isn't the best smelling city right now). Pierre Guillaume is an interesting brand, I've tried a few of them ("Aomassaï", "le musc et la peau" and 1 or 2 others ... but there are so many!). I don't live in Paris but I'll go there specifically to visit Jovoy, the Printemps Haussman's perfume's department and Serge lutens's salons du palais royal some day. I wish you the best of stay in our beautiful country... come back on holiday ! all scented matters appart there is so much to see and enjoy, in Paris but also outside Paris 😊
I’m watching that fragrance on a pedestal and observe the hand gestures and all I get is “don’t topple the only Vétivérité by Anka Kuş in the northern hemisphere!” Had to watch the episode twice. 🫣

Interestingly for me it lasted pretty well (I got a comfortable 6 hours from it). It's not a huge projector but I don't mind this. Admittedly I wore it on 2 days that were really cold; and sprayed on skin, so maybe my body heat was pushing the scent forward. I did a perfume/chocolate tour last month and I loved it! I went to Luxemburgo, Switzerland, Belgium and France. I saved 2 days for Paris and I went almost all shops 😄 I couldn’t try BDK and Kajal 😢 This is what I love about living in Europe, we take a 35€ fly ticket and trains to move around. 😂sound fancy but it’s not, it’s quite cheap if you book it beforehand.
I love the thought of the chocolate and perfume tour! Who did you go through? I would love to have a look at their website. I never fly when I’m in Europe. Everything is by train😎♥️ (air travel is a pain in the🐴)

I also walked in to some small Parisian niche shops but I don’t recall the names. 🥺 I loved it! Next stop will be definitely Milano 🙏🏽💙

However, if I look at my 'use' of the 2, I tend to reach for Amberwood more often. So if you're testing, then check out Amberwood...this one is a big winner in my books Hoping you're well homie👊🏽

I tried Tonka Bodykon a few months ago and I found it very nice, but having no lasting power. Your Sogni sounds tantalizing.
