Love your videos, your Snap T is getting better. You might want to learn the Snake Roll. You almost do one in the early stages of the video. Well done, keep it up.
You got more of a scrap out of that £20 note that the sea trout!! lol Another superb video of a great day! Well done! Really enjoying your winter releases!
Aye it could have tries a bit harder seeing as how it was on film. Glad you're enjoying them, it's good fun to make them. It keeps me at home too and stops me having stupid ideas about going grayling fishing or something.
Nice lively sea trout, seems migratory fish are coming back to the Tyne. A welcome sight. Must have been a flood there, washing up small trout. Great adventure video. Angling experience...👍
What a gem of a video, if that was the chapel at Kirkhaugh ? My Dad as a kid was evacuated from North Shields during the war, he and the family lived at Windy Hall which is a farmhouse on the hill behind you. They all foraged. I don’t ever recall him mentioning finding £20 notes you jammy bugger. Another great video, I also love fishing the south Tyne.
Thanks, yes that was it I guess it must've been the estate Chapel. It is a lovely place to fish. I'd fish the south Tyne everyday if I could but what I'm finding is access isn't so straightforward. When you've got a Gopro strapped to you it limits your options.
Shakespeare Oracle switch 7/8 with a Barrio Switch 6/7 line. It's lovely for small rivers but I got the 7/8 line to try next year for casting bigger tube flies.
You are always respectful of the fish and the water. Top man!
Many thanks, every migratory fish is a cause for celebration.

You're right I often find myself needing to do a snake roll to shift the line across. I will ask a friend to show me.

Many thanks, that was after a huge summer spate. One of the locals said it was like a tidal wave came down the river.
Talk about 'cast your bread upon the waters' ! Great video-thanks

Cheers

Lovely fish mate you are doing great!,
Many thanks, it took a while to get going but it wouldn't be so enjoyable if it was easy.
Brilliant that loved it , think the following day would of been perfect 👍👍👍
Many thanks, I was on the water the following day too but a little further downriver. It was not a bad day at all.
I come up from Whitby every year Rob and fish around Lambley and below, can be fantastic if you time it right 👍
Cracking video and a cracking fish
Many thanks
Congrats to the nice fish 👊
Thanks, I can sense a sea trout addiction in the making.
Only one but it was a deacent seatrout so good stuff:)
I'm not greedy, one will do for me! I'm starting to like seatrout fishing a lot.
I actually prefer seatrout fishing over salmonfishing so i def see your point.@@abakerslife
