Formed in Akron, Ohio in 2001, The Black Keys are singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney. They have been called ‘rock royalty’ by the Associated Press and ‘one of the best rock ‘n’ roll bands on the planet’ by Uncut. Cutting their teeth playing small clubs, the band has gone on to sell out arena tours worldwide and have released 11 studio albums. The band has won six Grammy Awards and a BRIT, among other worldwide accolades. In 2022, the duo received two more Grammy nominations, bringing their career total to sixteen, this time for Best Rock Album for Dropout Boogie, and Best Rock Performance for the single ‘Wild Child’, one of the biggest hits of their career to date. On release, Dropout Boogie was the band’s sixth consecutive top 10 debut on the Billboard 200 in the US.

I don’t think people understand how INCREDIBLE these two are. Was just scrolling back through their discography and it’s like great song one after the other. Consistently for atleast 20 years. Their music has gotten me through so many different times of my life.
uh, no. Their last five albums have been completely average. El Camino was their last really good album, and that was in 2011.
TBK seem like the nicest dudes to have a beer with and talk about making music...cool interview, thx
These guys are just so damn relaxed and regular. The whole reason I love blues artists.
I have to give Vlad so much credit for this interview. The order in which he asked his questions was great. Broad, chronological questions that every fan, and non-fan, of the Keys could follow.
Northeast Ohio has outpunched the competition for years
The interviewer really connects with them, so casual. Her questions are unique and fun too!
love them talking about shows where no 1 was there , I bet they sounded good too. 🎹
Obrigado Itaú
Pat is my favourite comedian
same, best podcast guest in the world
Does Pat have a photographic memory? He remembers dates and facts with ease.
Great interview!
OBSESSED WITH THIS INTERVIEWER 💖💖💖
Only 234 views? Ok. The Black Keys rock baby!!
After all the years, accolades, and money…Jack White still living rent free in Patricks head 🧠 😂 so funny Tom York clinging to character and couldn’t get over someone else having a good idea 😂 also love the Black Keys, great stories, and how weird it got. Thanks for all the music and swinging through friends ;)
I just read That Rock God ROBERT PLANT said that he would love to play bass in this band.... Talk about showing love
The black keys are like batman and robin where both guys are batman and both guys are robin
This is very special. I’m an older rock guy, but these guys are super cool. Such a pleasure to see them thrive in the dark ages of the music industry . Sadly, they might be the last ones. Hollywood and New York fu@ked it up. Shame on them and your publishing rights.
“ Look at you now”
What happened to Tower Records?
What happened to ALIVE records?
for their age these guys have great hair
Where is the documentary streaming?
Got great bands like Devo and you guys😂
I must say that this keynote is absolutely carried by Pat. The interviewer knew nothing and it showed. Her questions were so …. Just nothing. No depth, no knowledge, no nothing. Dan’s comeback to the Sam & Dave reference was spot on. She had no idea who Sam & Dave were. Oh, this was painful!
Seattle>Portland
That lady looks a bit like Hilary Clinton but younger. Yep
LORDE I thought.
She is too damn boring …. Rick Rubin should do the interview
Hopefully my opinions on this video don't break the "guidelines"... anyway I wasn't expecting this type of amateur interview especially from the "senior writer" at Rolling Stone. In my opinion, it is so unprofessional saying "ummm" as her opening line, and at least 2-3 more times within the first minute. Having questions on her phone, and not listening....just waiting to talk and ask the next question. Unbearable.
This one is pretty chill…but It’s a theme for the entire event…just sell tickets 😂
This woman is an unbearably horrible interviewer. She doesn’t like Twitter either 😢
Good musicians, but I find their music sort of corny, to be honest.
