playback speed 0.75 sounds like any other SPP songs I love it, also for ten feet up playback speed 1.25 is also fucking sick!!!!

Does anybody know the material for the masks? I looked up for felt but the one I found was way too thin, so I bought something similiar called ''soft'' and I failed miserably. Is it a really thick felt, then? (I know the ''face'' part is two folded and half way through the ears it's one fold only)

Alex Mauri bit late but there's a vocoder, sometimes vibrato/some tremolo (I think) and lots of reverb. I wonder if he sings in that octave though.
Arturo Chávez Are these things you're listing different voice effects ? I'm not familiar with the equipment/instruments used for things like this. But it's definitely an effect LOL.And yeah, I'm pretty sure he sings using this effect, only. I haven't heard any songs where he is using his normal singing voice.
Oldman Ontheinternet sorry I assumed you'd know, yes they're different effects (not exclusive to voice though). I'm sure about him using a vocoder, it's a device that adds the resonance of the mouth to the notes of another instrument - like daft punk stuff

Some songwriters actually don't care that the words can't be heard/known and the sound/texture is what really matters. In fact this has been done on purpose before. As for this band I really don't know if the words are meant to be hard to understand. But yea, listen to the vocals as just a sound and the music is just as amazing. Peace. :)
