used to be a club in Sunderland where I think he's from? called Annabels that was utterly massive, loads of different spaces in it, usually catered to the hard metal, goth, electrowave, darkwave flavour of music, standing in your own space doing your own thing was common.

I love everything about these two: the music, the demeanor, the clothes. Everything's so 80s and so cool in a dark, gothic way. I love that there's still people who make this kind of music and dress like that, there's so much shit music around is appalling, but these guys are what we need to keep the faith in true art.

yes, clearly I discovered that band through my daughter, they are clearly inspired by the 80's gothic/dark/cold band 😊 the sound of guitar, the effects, the amp they use (roland JC), the chorus/flanging bass, the line of the bass, the synth, the way they sing, the way they dance 😊👍👍

2020 has been a time of isolation and darkness for most of us. "The Last Thing" is, in my view, is a dystopian masterpiece that perfectly captures the tone of these dark times. The darkwave undercurrent of the music, the tones of Larissa's voice, coupled with the dark lyrics, and even William's dancing, provides a wonderful piece of musical and visual art within a post industrial landscape. Most of all it provides a dark dystopian atmosphere few other bands can even come close to.
