actually its possible. the furby stores power inside of it with one big battery, so the batteries would last longer. one time a heard a really quiet buzzing noise from my grey furby with the battery door open. it lasted like 5 seconds, and I heard it better when I put my ear to the speaker.

I actually loved my Furby. When my mom got my sister a purple/blue one and she named it Lulu- I was so convinced I HAD to have one. I was persistent and got what I wanted. Mine was pink and yellow and I named it Coco. I loved mine 💛🩷
my sister had 1 of these origionals. I buried it in the backyard of my first house.along with some smaller plastic furbys from bk kids meals. it always said Feed me! 24/7

When he does you can tell b/c he'll make a sound that sounds like he's winding down.
It's been yrs since this was posted but I had the black and white Furby that's on the tag. This was a huge toy craze and I was so excited but then once you got it and played with it there's not much special about it. It got boring quick
