You could teach Furbies (1998 furbies) "tricks". If you want Furby to repeat actions more often, pet its back twice to reward it. Which I would say *IS* something new that wasn't factory-standard. I dug my old one out, and I've been training it to ring like a phone.

My 3rd grade class had Furby days where everyone could bring their furby to school. (We had 20 in the class and everyone had one) We had to keep them in the janitors closet outside the classroom during class time and one day the poor janitor about had a heart attack walking into his closet and having 20 furbies all go "AAAAAH"
I had two 2005 furbies and they wouldn't shut up at night, not even in the dark. They would talk to eachother until late hours in gibberish, because they had their own language, and it was so annoying. The reason why I didn't move them to separate rooms was because then they would start pouting and that was twice as annoying.
You do realize when they talk their own language they are planning something devious. Could range from stealing items from your room to something extreme like killing you. But it seems like you've survived.
I use to treat my furby like shit, I'd smack it around and swear at it, the worst it ever responded was "You'll Regret That." And then slow blinked. After that I gave it to my little brother.

But my parents kept finding it and putting it in front of me. Every time they left me alone with that thing, I started crying. And when I first saw that furbys were back, I almost cried.

both my friend had a furby wedding with their furbies and went to a box on the shelf for a week as their honeymoon. They went and got two mini furbies and made the married ones have children. It scared me.

But, they really should have known better I took apart and tried (emphasis on tried) to put back together every mechanical/electrical toy they gave me. I loved my furby. They were weird though.. my sister said my name as my step father was putting in the batteries the first day we had them, the first thing it said was my name.. I hated how they squeeled when their batteries died. That would terrify any 8 year old.

I loved my furby. They were weird though.. my sister said my name as my step father was putting in the batteries the first day we had them, the first thing it said was my name.. I hated how they squeeled when their batteries died. That would terrify any 8 year old.

I had a old style furby named Mogie as a young kid, it learned how to say "Here Kitty". My mom was in the bathroom one morning, and heard it go off, saying "Here kitty kitty!" confused her cause I wasn't home, and she realized it was the furby. :D He'd play games like hide and seek and peek a boo.
