When manually opening the top - How do you get the top latch locks to lock the roof open? In the automatic mode, one lock latches and the other appears stuck in the open position. It worked a couple of days ago. I thought if I open/closed the roof manually, maybe it would unfreeze the stuck lock latch.

How much do you charge for the top on a 2004 beetle

The only issue I have now is the beeping from the car because the top is down

It will do that unless you can hold switch down long enough until it locks into place. Guessing cuz you do this manually you'll never be able to get that to engage. It'll beep every time you come to a stop and go again. So you'll want to get the motor switch or whatever not working on the power system to work.

This helped me so much. Thank you! The switch was stiff at first but a pair of needle nose pliers helps to loosen it.
