The combo starting at 1:38 is AWESOME and is now my go-to wall run combo, but I have a couple of questions. 1: Why alpha blade into the wall? Testing it, there's more than enough time to drop and dash into the wall, and doing so makes the timing much less strict. 2: Why end the combo with Zansei Rouga or j.D? After testing it, seems like just doing another 6H for the wallbreak does more damage than both and is way easier.
Great questions! Using alpha blade is just pure habit for me. Because I use wall run cancels in my corner pressure a lot I'm just used to doing it that way, and holding P feels more natural to me. There really is no difference if you just normal dash. Use which you perfer! As for zansei rouga. I always thought that was the most damage you could get after that combo. I guess you would only use ZR if you know you can't kill, and you wanted to put them in the post ZR mix up since you can't Banki messai of course. (Which would be amazing if they gave us that lol)

When I try to do the corner combos in training the 5H after the JD breaks the wall and stops the combo

how do you microdash? im struggling with the first corner combo and dont get how to microdash after the hs. mine just does a normal dash and arives when the oponent is already on his feet
any tips for the timing on combo 2 j.k 9 j.s 9 j.k. the 2nd j.k consistently whiffs for me and m not sure why
I've had that problem in the past. Without seeing your gameplay, my guess is perhaps just try slowing down your inputs and making them a little cleaner. Also if you dont start at c.S range, sometimes you are too far from the opponent to connect the full combo. Hope this helps!
Delay the initial j.k by a tiny bit, that should allow the final j.k to connect

I'm a total beginner when it comes to chipp but I cant do the first combo correctly. After the j.k the bot just lands away from my 2s when I land. What am I doing wrong?
was in same spot two days ago i’m new on chipp too, either your j.k is connecting twice for two hits and pushing them away, or your j.k is too slow, or your 2S is too slow, or lastly, when you launched them you may have been standing to far away. another tip i have is that while in the air if you hold forward while doing j.k, you will drift forward a bit more, causing 2S to whiff more. I’m new to strive and chipp but not fighting games and that’s what i’ve been able to derive after 2 days of messing it up same way you were
even after learning the combo it still whiffs in game for me and what i expect causes it to whiff most is not doing the j.k quick enough in the air, if anyone have tips let us know
@@shaquilleIV thank you for answering, friend. I've been able to consistently do the combo in training mode by doing the upwards special really quickly after launching the dummy. Then, I instantly press kick and it seems to work
Update:
I noticed that I am missing my last 236K when I do this combo from my side of the corner. It doesn't happen when I'm mid screen. Idk how he did the combo while being in the corner lmao
