Just this morning 10-8-2022 I had to get my dealership to replace my door handle. I have a 2017 Nissan Sentra SV. They are actually covering it fully. At first they said they could not cover it, then about 3 weeks ago they said they would partly cover it. Last week while I was out of town they said they would cover it free of charge due to my customer loyalty. I was surprised until I saw how much it cost to replace it at the dealership. It is 559.03 to to put the door handle on but that does not include the diagnosis they have to do on top of it which is 165.00 dollars. Just a heads up for those who are curious as to how much it would cost. My door handle also has intelligent key. Im sure without intelligent it it should a bit cheaper.

How to put same lock cylinder on another side as well, so you have key access not only on the DS, but on the PS as well? Will it work (you'll ask a locksmith to reset the new lock of course) without that sensor that someone mentioned in comments? Thank you for a great film, many useful techniques shown.
if you replace the handle by yourself and get a key system error (even if everything work ok) you need to take the car to the dealer or a good locksimth with the correct tools to add the new lock sensor to the system.... and this cost $$$$. The easy fix is to remove the orignal broken handle lock sensor and connect it to the door system (leaving the new connector loose) and strap it the the actual wire hardness and problem solved!
Is that two connectors for the sensor or is only one has two connectors. And one for the key total of 3
So you just swap out the old harness w the new one right
Can you please help me figure out how to fix my “key system error” after i changed my door handle that warning popped up on my dashboard…. My question is, do I have to use the same wires that was connected to the old door handle & also the old key port that you would use to unlock the door with your physical key? I ordered my new handle off Amazon & all the reviews were great so I don’t know what’s wrong.

Hello my 2018 door handle is ok its just that the chrome part moves about a 1/4 inch, is there anyway to just fix the chrome part ? would it be safe just to put a dab of glue as it is on but clearly it is starting to try to disconnect....

Actually I have the solution you have to remove the door handle sensor from the other one and put it on the new one you got to open it apart other way it will be annoying fix

i did it all just like you said but i have a door lock system error what to do with that
Check to make sure you didn't leave any unplug
After I replaced mine I have a key system error I use my snap-on Solus ultra and it says I have an antenna problem. Well whenever I go in to the intelligent key setting and turn it off at that door the key system error goes off temporarily. Did you use an aftermarket door handle or a actual Nissan one. I used an aftermarket and the intelligent key button on handle was black originally and the new one I got was silver.

Take the antenna out of the old handle and only plug in the button for the new handle. I fastened the old antenna to the metal support rib in the door.
